How come I don't see this anywhere else? Is he really going to the Jags for a second rounder?

Wow.  We really need to get Chris Long if this is true. We have no one to really put pressure on the QB.............

I read that on April 1st and immediately purged it from the "this might be pertinent information" inbox in my brain.

Makes me wonder how many other mistakes cops make while on 12 hours shifts.

I'm not sure that people responsible for the public's well being should work when exhausted.  Doctors working a 24 hour shift while in residency for example... rookie doctors purposely put in exhausting conditions.  Insance.

There's the power-trip attitude that we're all so fond of.  If you make a mistake it can be life changing.  Your answer?  "Oh well!"  How many life-changing mistakes do you have to make before you get more than a slap on the wrist?  How many cops have been forced to personally compensate a victim of their mistake?  Zero - or pretty close to zero.  If you sue a cop and you're only suing the tax payers.  You end up paying your own settlement.
