Title: Where's the return line for,"When you wish upon a star"? Post by: bsfins on June 30, 2006, 03:51:34 pm Where's the return line,For when you wish upon a star?
I wish upon a star all the time, and it F'ked my order up....I wanna send it back.I'll pay the return shipping....just send it back.... I guess the worst part is I aksed for what I got, well sort of..I admit,I wasn't real specific.... The worst part is it,I always thought I wasn't a very shallow person, but I do have standards.I guess it's another one of those live and learn situations, that I tend to get myself in . I guess it's growing up,and feeling like It's time to Grow up... So,Have you ever wished for something, then when you got it...You really don't want it? Feel free to vent... Title: Re: Where's the return line for,"When you wish upon a star"? Post by: CF DolFan on June 30, 2006, 05:33:21 pm This reminds me of an old country song ...
Sometimes God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. Being a Christian I am constantly asking God to close doors for me that will cause me harm even if I can't see it ... and to open others that I wasn't looking for when they will keep me in his will. I am learning to accept "unanswered prayers" as an answer to this more important prayer. I know your not "religous", for lack of a better term, but I do pray that whatever you are dealing with is a life lesson that you quickly learn and that the positive side to it will quickly show it's head! Though we can't always see how, any negative can have a positve side to it. Title: Re: Where's the return line for,"When you wish upon a star"? I Wish upon a star, for my family to be healthy, and happy...and if it's not too much to ask...a nice lady, that I like, and will like me..... I've met 3 ...not looking...just...met them in different ways... 1.) was a Psycho...just got out of jail...ok..thank you very much.... 2.) One recognized me from my pic on myspace, and we started talking. 3.) One I met through work...I talked to her on the phone for a week for work... she sent me a pic,and we've been messaging/Email/talking on the phone to eachother. 2.) is very hot and cold..Attractive....We went out to dinner,we had a great time..we talked ..I sent her an email, the next day...I had a great time,etc,etc...We went out again.. I felt like a troll, and I should have been honored to be seen with her....I call her on the phone one day...she's awsome...then next time..she's like Yeah what do you want? 3.) The pic she sent me..was like 2 years old...she's like 100 - 150lbs bigger.she's awsome to talk too....but...not very attractive....she's already planning OUR wedding, and you're all invited....She really Likes me...but...ummm I just don't find her attractive.... For the first time in a long time,I'm sufddenly getting notced by women...Is it that i'm working out,my hairs getting alittle grey....I'm not sure what it is...I've not had this in years...I love that women are actually notice me..but not..really any that ...umm I wished for? I'm just very confused...I'm just wondering if I really want someone in my life.... I was just wondering if ...It's pandoras box? i'm sorry to babble.... If you find the woman attractive (physically and intellectually, one hopes) go for it. Leave the thougts of long term committment behind and focus on the near term goals have having a good time and getting laid. The falling in love stuff will work itself out. At the risk of sounding like a player, I just want to let you know there's three women out there that would love to be the next Ms. Tommy.

Post by: Sunstroke on July 01, 2006, 12:33:56 pm Lil_B, The answer seems so simple. You just need to take a two week trip to Taiwan or Hong Kong, meet a cute little asian princess (you can pay extra for one with a gymnastics background) and bring her back to Missouri. The new Mrs Lil_B will love you long time... Title: Re: Where's the return line for,"When you wish upon a star"? Post by: bsfins on July 01, 2006, 01:56:26 pm That might work..if I Wanted a MRS. Lil b around....I'm not getting married anytime soon...

Post by: CF DolFan on July 01, 2006, 02:38:28 pm I actually know a couple of guys who have been doing internet dating. It cuts through a lot of BS and singles out people who are looking to date. They haven't gotten married but they seem to be successful at getting dates. Easier to narrow down your options as well to bounce back from rejection! They have also made a lot of new friends along the way!
