Welcome to the boards.
Title: Re: 7 Round Mock Draft Post by: simeon on March 16, 2008, 07:16:11 pm NO NO NO!!!!
Matt Ryan #1 pick Title: Re: 7 Round Mock Draft Post by: fyo on March 16, 2008, 07:33:57 pm Please, please, please don't let us pick Matt Ryan.
Not that I'm worried, really. Parcells is not an idiot. Title: Re: 7 Round Mock Draft Post by: Kirbyjr on March 16, 2008, 08:58:06 pm No Matt Ryan! I think that would be a worse pick than Ginn last year.
Title: Re: 7 Round Mock Draft Post by: DolFan619 on March 16, 2008, 11:08:22 pm NO NO NO!!!! Matt Ryan #1 pick Matt Ryan blows. Rd.7 Pick#193 Lance Leggett-WR-Miami (FL) I don't want too see Lance Leggett on this football team. This dude is uber-soft, and most Cane fans are glad to be rid of him. Title: Re: 7 Round Mock Draft Post by: Sunstroke on March 17, 2008, 12:27:13 am I like some of those guys...not shabby at all. Going by the "within 10 selections of a major mock draft" principle, I like this set a little better: #1: DE Chris Long, Virginia #32: OT Carl Nicks, Nebraska #57: LB Curtis Lofton, Oklahoma #64: NT Ahtyba Rubin, Iowa St. #96: WR Paul Hubbard, Wisconsin #189: QB Dennis Dixon, Oregon #193: OG Chad Rinehart, Northern Iowa The only position of need not addressed there would be DB, and I'd be happy with a FA from the second wave, or an undrafted FA prospect to fill there...as long as we could get a player group like this one. ;D Title: Re: 7 Round Mock Draft Post by: MaineDolFan on March 17, 2008, 12:05:00 pm The one thing that is a little unrealistic is that Dixon and Johnson will most likely be gone by R5, but I like these mock ups.
Title: Re: 7 Round Mock Draft Post by: fyo on March 17, 2008, 02:35:28 pm With the #2 quarterback, Brian Brohm, slipping into the second round on most mock drafts these days, should we consider grabbing him at #32?
Not that I'm "giving up" on Beck. Not by a long shot. I still think he could be a very good quarterback. Good quarterbacks are just really hard to come by and I don't think the free fall in Brohm's draft status is fair to his abilities as a player. I'd rather take a good player on a mediocre team than a mediocre player on a great team, even though the latter will probably have the better stats. |
