I voted for Chris Long because the front seven needs some serious help.  I also changed the poll to include a possible trade down.  I'd love for the Dolphins to trade down but I don't think it's gonna happen. 

Any thoughts?    

It seems this question has been asked and debated.
since this is a question it is based on what I like to see, this isn't to call people names because you disagree.
So in my opinion I will go with Matt Ryan QB Boston College.

Who do I believe the Dolphins will take?  Chris Long

Who do I wish they would take?  Jake Long

Who do I REALLY wish they would take? Whichever quality player is at the spot they trade down to.

I think they are going to try to keep Taylor and use him as a hybrid kind of guy.  Because of that, I think they feeling ok about passing on Chris Long.  I don't think the Tuna would approve of taking any QB with as many interceptions as Ryan at the #1 spot.

Therefore, I think they take Jake Long. 

I would be ok with Chris Long, if they think that we will have to replace some defensive talent next year.

I would be ok with Ryan, but I would be the least satisfied with him as the #1 overall pick.

 I hope Miami will take Chris Long with the 1st pick.  If they take Jake Long or trade down for more picks, I would be cool with that as well.

I can't say for sure who they'll take, but if it were up to me, it would be the Michigan Long.

Chris Long is a lock. He should be the pick and he WILL be the pick.

Hey stroke you said on the last show you were a "defensive junky" so wouldn't you love to get Chris more thank Jake?

I just think that the O Line needs to be re tooled more than the D Line this season, so that's why I say Jake.

I try not to let my addictions affect my judgement that much... I love defense, but if I was given the decision at #1, I'd take Jake Long with no reservations, and show the touts how well he CAN play the LT position. ;D

I think they'll take Chris Long with the #1 pick, and take an OT with one of their second round picks.

Then again, what the hell do I know? Doc would be happy with either of the "Long brothers".

Whoever said they will trade down is wishful thinking at this point.

I think Jake Long wanting to be the pick I feel like is most people's love for offense over defense and yes that does exist.

You don't draft strictly for need at #1. Period. You don't reach at #1, and yes I think Jake Long is a reach at #1.

I'm still hoping for a trade down and possibly an under the table deal with Dallas or sothing done with #99. But if not and we have to get a first Pick I'm going with Chris Long.

Read my entries in my blog on Feb 14 and 16 on why Dallas trading up with Miami would make absolutely no sense and this was a point that no one else has made in the world, and I think that is pretty said.
