Title: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: jtex316 on April 12, 2008, 01:22:22 pm I had the best haircut today. In and out in 10 minutes, no talking, no bullshitting, no asking me about my day or if I'm off today - just "What you would like?", and then 10 minutes of cutting hair, giving the woman $20, and leaving.
Perfect. I don't have to be asked about Hair Care products or what I do for a living - just shut your mouth, cut my hair, shave my neck, and we're done. Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: Dave Gray on April 12, 2008, 01:41:21 pm Nice.
I have a pretty good relationship with my barber at this point, and I enjoy the bullshitting that comes with it. Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: AprFools_Phins on April 12, 2008, 02:51:18 pm I almost never just get my hair cut- usually some highlighting/coloring is also taking place. And considering my hair is really long- down to the small of my back- my salon visits last about 3 hours...no talking would make that a very boring 3 hours.

I get haircuts like that all the time..... the only difference is my haircuts are self-administered. Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: Guru-In-Vegas on April 12, 2008, 04:37:02 pm I cut my own hair. I do a lot better job than most barbers and get asked all the time where do I go.
Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: cyan on April 13, 2008, 03:42:54 am The bullshit chit-chat was part of the reason I bought a set of clippers and haven't paid for a haircut in 4 years.
Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: Defense54 on April 13, 2008, 05:15:23 pm I Had this HOT chick I went to. Nice shot of the Clevage when shampooing. Then the Occasion Brush of Camel Toe on my Fingers on the seat Handle when she stretched(She was only 4'11"). (DD's :o ) I was very sad when she moved on. Now I prefer them quite like you.........Just shadup and get it done. Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: Phishfan on April 14, 2008, 09:39:19 am I haven't had a haircut in about 1o months. I do prefer some conversation though. It may be because I typically would go to a pretty woman.

Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: MaineDolFan on April 14, 2008, 10:45:22 am Not all at. She's a sweet younger girl.
Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: fyo on April 14, 2008, 11:55:00 am Not all at. She's a sweet younger girl. Well, MY hair dresser is very pretty and nice, and I enjoy talking to her (most of the time). Yet, I can't stand it when I go to a salon and the hair dresser keeps trying to engage me in conversation. ;) Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: run_to_win on April 14, 2008, 01:43:44 pm Not all at. She's a sweet younger girl. An old joke comes to mind. To paraphrase... "That's not a sweet younger girl! That's my wife!"Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: bsfins on April 14, 2008, 02:00:31 pm I'm on the fence on this issue, because I go to the beauty school...sometimes It makes me nervous, when they start talking to me,because they're already slow,a nd being real careful...A few times I've gotten nervous because they seemd to have that confused look on thier face,I don't want to distarct them...
The Biggest problem I have is when they start asking me 20 questions about my hair,Do you want this thinned and layerd, then tapered, over the ears,Shorter, parted to the left,or the right, over the ear, sideburn off,or on,gelled.......No I don't want a clipper cut thank you.... Post by: Sunstroke on April 14, 2008, 02:54:03 pm If you guys don't like conversations during haircuts, what in the world do you do for Brazillian waxes? When I get my quarterly brazilian (a smooth 'Stroke is a happy 'Stroke), I pay extra to have the salon person sing Cyndi Lauper tunes the whole time. "If you're lost, - riiiiip you can look - riiiiip and you will find me - riiiiip, riiiiiip time after time - RIIIIIP" Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Post by: Buddhagirl on April 14, 2008, 04:50:18 pm My waxer doesn't talk, really. She's nice at first, then she starts bringing the pain!

Good for you! I did that a few years back. It felt like I'd just finished a marathon. Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. Someone out there is going to appreciate that very much! I am currently growing mine again to donate, but it's not quite long enough. Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet. I think you should post before and after pics. Most people I know who have done this end up looking better after their hair is all chopped off. There's pics of Philly with a chrome-dome around here somewhere...Title: Re: I like my haircuts like my women: Quiet.
