First and foremost- I'm not defending what Vick did-
BUT-
I'd somewhat have to disagree with Vick being on that list. Granted he's in prison now, but prior to last summer, he was one of the "faces" of the NFL. He makes the list only because of non-football related issues. But if those didn't occur, he wouldn't be on the list.

Agreed.  There are a lot of #1's that panned out far worse than Vick.

Yeah, I agree.  Vick sucks, even as a football player, he never lived up to the hype.  But, he did make pro-bowls and got into the playoffs.  And he managed to stay out of trouble for a while before he was finally gone.

I don't think it's fair to put Carr on that list. He was literally DESTROYED in his first season with the Texans. That's a hard one to overcome. Even then, he did have 3 so-so seasons, 2004-2006. Sure, not what you hope for in a #1, but hardly top-10 all-time worthy.

EDITED TO ADD: I have a major problem with this list: Virtually all the picks are 90s or later.

This list wasn't made by me, but yahoo. I know what Vick did was wrong, but does that mean he should one of the worst first picks in the draft ?

Some kid at yahoo who doesn't realize how far back the draft goes probably put together the list

I remember The first time Vick Played Miami. Zack Thomas and Co. were chasing him all over the field like a fricken Chicken! He was a better runner then he was a chucker. Zack was worn after that game!

^ Why not?  What has he done?  And look at how he turned out...If the Falcons had to do it all over again, you think they would take him?

Bad List
No Mandarich, no Leaf?, at least Entman suffered several knee injuries. Gallery is headed towards the list too.

It is worse #1 picks overall, not worse first rounders.

The amount of money paid to Vick and the mud he has tossed on Atlanta, not to mention how far he set them back -- he should be higher on that list.
