Pay off the wedding, start a bakery and move back to New England.  The rest would be invested into something smart.

Pay off my student loans/finish school. Then work on a fully sustainable urban house somewhere that is not Florida. Pay off my mom and dads debts and then invest what's left / attempt to buy a panda.

1:  Pay off all debt (mortgage, etc).
2:  Set up a high yielding, low risk investment for Abigail.
3:  Set up a high yielding, low risk investment for retirement.
4:  Make a high dollar donation to the Jimmy Fund.
5:  I have friends that just spent all their savings on an IVF that failed.  I make a mysterious deposit of $40,000 into their account so they can keep trying to obtain their dream of becoming parents.

I'd go out to lunch some place nice...like Denny's, every day for a whole week!

That would be one helluva commute on game days...

1.  Tithe to my church
2.  Pay off my credit cards
3.  Buy a new car
4.  Buy a nice house fully furnished (including a rumpus room)
5.  Set Daniel (Lil Tommy) up with a trust fund.  He can't touch it till he finishes high school, then it can only be used for college expenses.  Once he either turns 25 or finishes college (whichever comes first), he can have it.
6. Put the rest in a high interest savings or money market account.

i'd buy 3 motorcycles:  a honda goldwing, a custom chopper from the chopper shop down the street, and the best crotch rocket i can find.

then, i'd make a down payment on a modest, but nice, house (in jersey, thats prob 2x $$$ what you're thinking of).  then, the rest goes in an IRA for retirement and will probably yield at LEAST 30x what the original principle was after 40 years or so.

We did IVF.  It is a very emotional, as well as financial, roller coaster ride. I have serious sympathy for people undergoing this process. There is a whole lot of drugs, emotions, and hormones wrapped up into a financial pit fall. Fortunately, we ended up with twins on our last try!

1) I would tithe.
2) pay off debt
3) Invest for retirement and college  funds
4) vacation across America in a rolling turd
5) anonymously help support a few families of single mothers.
6) start up a business

2.) Buy me a house with s afew acres ..no nieghbors!
3.) Buy my mom a new truck
4.) Buy season tickets the the Dolphins, and make it to a game at wrigley...
5.) restore my old 71 GMc pick up....

I'd probably hastill have $400,000 left to invest......Lol

For me, its pretty easy...

I'd pay off my mortgage, car loan, boat loan, and Sportschick's car loan.
I'd pay off my mom's CC debts
I'd buy my mom a new car

...and then...

I'd take a month off and go to one game at every baseball stadium in America.

Then wait 5 or 6 months and do it again, but replace "baseball" with "football"

Going to every football stadium for a game will take you the better part of two seasons.... assuming you can make a couple playoff games.

Two chicks.

Seriously though, a million bucks isn't THAT much money.

Don't get me wrong, it's a lot, but it's not "quit your job and live large" money.  I think I'd probably just be really responsible with it.  Lock down any payments I have -- pay off the house (probably get a new one, actually), create college funds for the kids I don't have, expand my investments, give some of it to family, maybe.

But I think that my job would probably stay the same.

depends on the schedule.  17 weeks, 32 stadiums, considering MNF and sunday and the occasional thursday and saturday games, its VERY do-able.

If I won a million bucks, I'd set the following long-laid plan into motion:

* First, I'd take $800k, add it to my current savings, and drop the $800,005 into a high yield account, so I could semi-comfortably live off the interest.
* I'd take $199k and furnish a fairly decent machine shop in my second bedroom
* Once I'd trained myself to be a master machinist, I'd build a small portable nuclear device
* Then I'd take the other $1,000 and pay a private detective to get me Denver_Bronco's address

Sorry Thundergod, I have to disagree here.  When you're on the road, Waffle House is the best place to go for hash browns (or anything for that matter).

My fav Waffle House meal:

Sirloin Steak with two eggs over hard, toast, grits, and a double order of hashbrowns, scattered, smothered and covered.    Cherry flavored cola, check back often for refills please.  Then to top it all off, I'll have a slice of either southern pecan pie or chocolate cream pie depending on my mood.

Going to every football stadium for a game will take you the better part of two seasons.... assuming you can make a couple playoff games.

You could do it in one season, without post-season games.

You grab the season opener in Giants Stadium, followed by the Sunday game in Philly and the Monday Night game in Green Bay.

Week two takes you to the Lone Star State, with a trip to Reliant Stadium in Houston on Sunday, followed by MNF in Dallas.

Week three is an all West Coast deal, with a foggy Sunday in San Fran followed by a trip south along the coast to San Diego for the Monday Nighter.

Week four starts off in Chicago for the Sunday game, followed by Pittsburgh for some Monday Night action.

Week five you get to stay in, following your beloved Fins at home, followed by a trip to New Orleans for the Monday Night game.

Week six starts off in Tampa, followed by a quick visit to Cleveland where the defending champs are visiting Monday Night. If you'd rather watch the Broncos in Cleveland, you can wait for the Thursday game in week 12 and take this Monday off.

Week seven brings you to Cincinnati for the Sunday game, followed by a trip up North to Belicheat and Co.

Week eight starts off in the Meadowlands for the second time, this time with the Jets hosting the game. Feel free to skip this game, if you're counting stadiums and not "home games by team X". Monday Night Football takes you to Tennessee.

Week nine brings you to Manning Country - Peyton Manning, of course, followed by yet another bout of Monday Night Action, this time in Maryland at FedEx Field.

Week ten takes you to the locations of two of the worst franchises, Oakland on Sunday followed by Phoenix Monday Night.

Week eleven starts off in Atlanta for some Sunday action, before a quick visit to Buffalo the following day.

Week twelve brings the longest road trip, so you'll probably want to keep that one game Sunday in Seattle the only order of business that week, especially considering...

Week thirteen starts off early with a trip to Detroit for Thanksgiving Thursday. If you can manage it after eating way too much turkey, get yourself to St. Louis for some Sunday action.

Week fourteen brings you to Maryland again, this time with the Ravens playing host on Sunday. On your way home, stop off in Charlotte, NC for some MNF.

Week fifteen is a relaxing one, but considering that you might just run into DenverBronco at Mile High on Sunday, you could very well need the rest, especially with a short week coming up...

Week sixteen starts off early, with the last in-state stadium on the Grand Tour, Jacksonville's ALLTEL Stadium, for a Thursday Night game, followed by a trip to Arrowhead for some Sunday action.

Week seventeen brings you to the final stadium. It's way up North, but fortunately the Vikings play in a dome, so just avoid having to drive too much...

There, was that so difficult? ;-)

(You could probably shave off at least a week, but I haven't tried).

If I only had to pay by the minute, the Emperor's Club wouldn't be such a bad deal.

Good plan fyo.  I was thinking one game a week.

You should open your own travel agency.

You're all so very wrong. First, you invest in England's dental industry, then Bear Stearns, and with what's left, you buy scratch tickets.
