What do you guys think of all the other's teams picks so far?

I think everyone has done good so far.  The Chiefs especially. 

The Jets.  Screw the Jets.  I hope our boy Long completely erases their boy Gholston from all our games for the next decade.

McFadden belongs with the Raiders.  He has Raider all over him. 

I think the Falcons need a refresher and Matt Ryan is a good pick up. 

Patsies traded their pick away to the Saints.  MOTHER EF the Patsies.  Goodell shoulda taken more than one pick away from them.

Happy to see all the jets fans face when the the Raiders took Mcfadden! F- the jets fans!

Jets got Gholston, who owned Jake Long in college. Not sure how I feel about that.

Saints just traded up with New England.  Saints took Sedrick Ellis.  Still trying to find out what New England got for that.

Ravens traded down with Jax.

  A MAJOR TRADE!  They moved up all the way to #8!

Pats give up their 5th round and get a 3rd round, to slide down to number 10.

owned?  didn't he only have 1 sack against him?

I thought we would be more active in trading for picks.  This draft will define us for years to come as a franchise.

That's kinda cheap to move up three spots in the top half of the first round.

Gholston always owned Long everytime they played.

Jax  just took Derrick Harvey from UF with the pick they acquired from Baltimore.  MAJOR MAJOR reach in my opinion.  They obviously were desperate for pass rushers.

They're stupid.  They could have just given us what we wanted for JT and had 3 solid years to get to the big one.  Now they have to develop and wait and see if this guys pans out.

Wow. Jax gave up their 1st, two 3rd rounders and a 5th rounder to move up.

Thanks for reporting this, Philly.  That's actually less than I was expecting but still pretty costly.  They pretty much butchered their draft.

It only takes one sack to own someone? Outstanding...the 49ers Manny Lawson owns Seattle's studly LT Walter Jones then.

You more than anyone should realize that stats/numbers aren't everything. He was the only defensive end who ever gave Long a difficult time. And this is going back over their collegiate careers, not just this past season.

Yeah, who the hell is Jerod Mayo??  It's obvious they need LB help, and I'm sure they were targeting Keith Rivers, but Cincy gobbled him up at #9. 

Dan Connor would've been a better selection. 

And Buffalo follows up with an even more baffling selection.  Needing DB help and with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie as well as Mike Jenkins and Aquib Talib available, they take Leodis McKelvin.... a guy who wasn't expected to go until the second round.

  I figured the Bills would take Devin Thomas, even though it would've been a little bit high for him.

Jax gets an F already in the draft.  What MORONS!

2nd round??? Three different sources I'm looking at had him projected as a 1st rounder. Granted, he was usually the 3rd OR 4th CB (behind Mike Jenkins, Antone Cason and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie), but he was 1st round talent. Mike Mayock said he was his highest rated CB.

Two media guides I'm looking at have him in the second round. 

KC just traded with Detroit and drafted Virginia G Branden Albert at #15.  Good pick for them at this spot, but what did they give up?

They had a lot more picks to work with I guess. Remember, they picked up 2 3rd rounders (plus the first) from Minnesota this week. The Fins have a lot of picks, put compensatory picks can't be traded.

17th overall, 3rd round (66) and 5th round (136)

So far I'm really impressed with the Chiefs' draft.  At this point if things continue to work well for them they will be a very conspicuous force in the near future.

BTW these commercials ARE AWFUL!!! I HATE the underarmor one...

What channel are you watching? I have NFL Network, and the commercials are minimal.

I'm switching now to NFL net right now...I didn't know they were airing it as well.  I was watching ESPN.

Baltimore just traded with Houston to get the #18 pick.... probably gave up some of the booty they got from Jax.

49ers grab the best DT available, Kentwan Balmer from North Carolina.

Very happy with this pick...we needed to get Bryant Young's replacement in there.

We still need another OT...really hoping that Collins or Nicks are our next pick.

Let me try my hand at a quick mock thing...

Brohm goes to the Bears with the 13th pick of the second round.

Henne goes to the Cardinals with the 19th pick of the second round.

If one drops, the Buccaneers are a likely candidate to step in and pick up the slack.

Cardinals? Doesn't seem like a fit to me.

It may not be, but when you're looking at Kurt Warner, Tim Rattay and Tim Hasselbeck... well, any QB with a show at being really good has to be enticing.

The Brohm-Henne Watch

Eagles: McNabb is getting old (31), but it might still be a bit early to draft a first-day quarterback. I don't think they'll do it.
Redskins: Campbell is their guy.
Eagles: Same as before.
Cardinals: Looking at their depth chart, it would be hard to justify passing up a shot at someone like Brohm or Henne.
Redskins: Same as before.
Buccaneers: Here's another team in desperate need of quarterback assistance. Gruden appears to like Garcia, but they're going to need another quarterback sooner rather than later. I think they grab one here.
Steelers: Roethlisberger. What else is there to say.
Titans: They're going to ride Young for at least a couple more years, regardless of his performance.
Ravens: Flacco.
Packers: They're content with Rodgers.
Dolphins: ??????

Eagles drafted Kolb last year to be McNabbs successor. He was their first pick last year (they traded out of the first round)

OK, so the Cardinals went defensive end... It's starting to look increasingly likely Brohm or Henne will be available at 26. Do we pull the trigger, that's the question.

I'm really surprised that the Packers would go for Brohm. The value is hard to pass up, I get that, but it just seems like its a position they are probably OK with.

Not necessarily.  Aaron Rodgers is unproven at this point.  They drafted Brohm for the same reason San Diego held onto Phillip Rivers when Drew Brees got hot, and Cleveland is holding onto both Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn.... it can't hurt to have two talented QB's on your roster.

Who do you guys think will take USC's QB, Booty?  I can't think of any team that will benefit from a rookie QB other than Seattle (I don't like Hasselbeck)

Edited to add- Chicago.  How could I forget them.  Grossman is an awful awful QB.  I think Chicago fans are going to whine and complain over Henne like we did about Brady Quinn.

With Jake Delhomme and David Carr both underperforming last season, don't be surprised to see Carolina snatch him up.     

Minnesota is also going to grab a QB at some point today.

Kevin Smith of UCF just got snatched up by Detroit with the pick they acquired from the Dolphins.

Dan Connor finally goes to Carolina.  Dropped all the way to mid third round.... good replacement for Dan Morgan.

  The Kansas City Chiefs are putting together one hell of a draft class.  They have picked up DT Glenn Dorsey (LSU), OG Brandon Albert (VA), CB Brandon Flowers (Va Tech), RB Jamal Charles (texas) ,TE Brad Cottam (Tennessee) and S DaJuan Morgan (NC State).  Herman Edwards and Peterson are doing an outstanding job with this years draft class.  I am very impressed with there picks.  Kudos to them.

Even though SF had one of this year's draft picks already in the fold (Big Joe Staley), I really like the trio that SF has added so far. Kentwan Balmer, Chilo Rachal and CB Reggie Nelson should all be able to step in and help the Niners this season. No trading down to accrue more selections though, and I really expected that to happen (they only have 6 picks after the Briggs' penalty).

Round 4 is coming up...

DAMN!Tommy Zbikowski went to Baltimore.I love Tommy Z's hard nosed play but i HATE the ravens!

I think the Ravens have had one of the top-5 drafts this year so far, at least by the way I rate the individual players. Joe Flacco, Ray Rice, Tavares Gooden, Tom Zbikowski, Oniel Cousins...that's solid, and they still have 5 more picks to come.

Yeah, but the drafting of Chad Henne sends a clear message to John Beck..... you're not the starter unless you outdo both Henne and McCown.

Hey StL... Mr StL has to be happy, because the Rams are another team having an excellent draft. Chris Long, Donnie Avery, Joe Greco, Justin King, Keenan Burton and three more picks in rounds 6-7. Like Miami and SF, St Louis doesn't have a 5th rounder. Any reach by making Avery the first WR off the board at #33 is EASILY made up for by the outstanding value I feel they got with Greco-King-Burton in rounds 3-4. Greco and King, in particular, are two guys I was hoping to see land on either Miami or SF's roster.

Redskins just snagged Hawaii QB Colt Brennan. 

Funny what bad performances in your bowl game and the Scouting Combine can do to your draft stock.  This kid was supposedly a can't-miss prospect up until the Sugar Bowl.  He ended up sliding all the way to the 6th round.

  The West Coast Offense is probably the best fit for Colt.

Ironically, Redskins head coach Jim Zorn endorsed this kid when he was QB coach for the Seahawks last season.

Interesting tidbit I've picked up from the guys at ESPN..... not a single Alabama player has been drafted.  This will not reflect well on Nick $aban. 

BTW, MUCPhin, your boy Pierre Garcon got snatched up. 

Yes, we are amazed the Rams are not screwing up yet another draft.  I guess they finally learned their lesson.

34 trades over the past two days, dwarfing the old record of 28 set in 2004.

Mark my words.........After this year Tom Brady won't be the only NFL starting 6th round Pick.   I knew he wasn't coming to Miami but This guy has one of the fastest releases since Dan Marino. The Skins got the STEAL of the draft.
