I have to get this off my chest.

I like "Caption this Pic" threads, but there's a limit to them.  The picture has to have certain qualities, like if it was snapped at a strange moment where someone has a very un-natural expression, where something unexplainable at first glance is occurring, or where lots of things are happening in which to comment.

It can't just be any picture.

The one we have up there now in the Dolphins Discussing is Sparano walking though guys doing stretching drills.  That's pretty much it.  There isn't a whole lot to read into it.  What you see is what you get.

I actually agree but have never said anything.  I think we are killing a great idea by watering it down with "normal" pictures ... for lack of a better word.

Point taken.... but the Sparano pic itself drew out some very good captions.  That was one of the better threads.

I was thinking the exact same thing. There have been multiple "caption the pic" threads lately which seem completely normal to me. I haven't participated in many of them, but in the one I just did participate in, I tried to take a different approach to it, because the pic seemed perfectly "normal" to me.

Damn I wasted a perfectly good Seinfeld  reference.....it's the only thing Funny I saw with the pick was the puffy shirt.....(They talked about some of the rookies weren't used to to the heat and humidity and the head coach is wearing long sleeves)

I'm not picking on anyone in particular, nor am I saying not to post them.  Go ahead.  It's just something that I noticed, is all.

^ I aint going to lie to you, I thought the same thing and it took me a while to even think of something to come up with.  And even then it was weak.

I actually thought this was going to be another of those threads.
