Title: Re: Ravens brawl Post by: YoFuggedaboutit on May 11, 2008, 06:34:03 am Hopefully they can show that same kind of fight during games.
"You guys think you're tough eh? Y'all look like a bunch of sissies after a catfight. You got anger? That's good, you're gonna need it. You got aggression? That's even better, you're gonna need that too. But any two year old can throw a fit. Football is about controlling that anger, harnessing that aggression into a team effort!!!" ~ Denzel Washington in Remember The Titans. Title: Re: Ravens brawl Post by: Defense54 on May 11, 2008, 06:55:27 am What it shows is a complete lack of respect for him. Try that shit here in out camp this year and see what happens. The Joey Porters of the world need someone to respect or they will shit on you.
Title: Re: Ravens brawl Post by: CF DolFan on May 11, 2008, 07:40:35 am A couple of years ago, I was watching Tampa at Cadillac Williams first practice when many came to blows over what was perceived as the defense being too rough with the offense in drills. Players like Derick Brooks just turned their back and walked away while a bunch of no names went at it for a while. I found it pretty funny too as anxiety obviously is high in the preseason.
Not sure how you guys pin this to Cameron but I think Rex Ryan's sentiments are on target and this was much to do about nothing. Harbough will tighten them up. Just as Players fear Parcell here in camp because of his past reputation players will shit on Cameron because of his reputation. I wish him well........but he needs to go into camp and make an example of someone quick. Players talk , its no different then any other place of employment. Your reputation follows you. Cameron is not the head coach of Baltimore. The job of getting the guys motivated falls to John Harbaugh. Cameron's job is to develop an offensive system and call plays. He's back to what he was doing in San Deigo. Title: Re: Ravens brawl Post by: StL FinFan on May 11, 2008, 01:50:43 pm Cameron needs to be fired. ;D
Title: Re: Ravens brawl Post by: Brian Fein on May 11, 2008, 11:02:00 pm Cameron needs to get his walking papers immediately, this is an outrage!
Title: Re: Ravens brawl Post by: CF DolFan on May 12, 2008, 07:07:41 am Sadly ... the sarcasm from you two will be missed by many people in here! :)

Is it printed on eco-friendly ink and paper? Is it in a 3-hole binder so that you can take with you, outlining your career accomplishments and W/L record? Or, are you emailed a "termination" letter?

Title: Re: Ravens brawl Post by: Defense54 on May 13, 2008, 07:18:05 pm Cameron is not the head coach of Baltimore. The job of getting the guys motivated falls to John Harbaugh. Cameron's job is to develop an offensive system and call plays. He's back to what he was doing in San Deigo. He is in charge of the offense. He still needs to motivate them. He needs to coach them and instruct them what to do. I'm telling you when he walks on the field shoulders drop and unless you are just a superior player that doesn't need it everyone will not be going 100%. A team that doesn't go 100% in practice does not go 100% on the field. |
