I've never seen this mentioned before, so sorry if its already been done.
Just the top 5 posters on the site, in terms of best posts.
I like to read most responses, but theres a couple of other users whom I always find to have especially good input. My criteria for best posts are: best most valid points with factual data & cool opinions --- I don't even have to agree with the opinions or like their team

I know spongebob  is a bad word around here but for all the silliness he did make some valid points in some of his more serious posts

5. JVides - Most level headed and rational conservative on the internet.

Honorable mention: ThunderGod for member I'd most like to have a beer with.

On a side note.  Tommy, you really should put Saran wrap or some kind of barrier on your monitor.  Maybe even not drink anything when you come on here.  Can't be good for your monitor spitting drink on it all the time.   ;)

1) Sunstroke - Always has something clever to say, and I feel that we have pretty similar sports views.
2) Philly Fin Fan - The voice of reason to all the far fetched stuff that gets said around these parts.
3) MaineDolFan - Cool insight on a lot of Baseball stuff. Best off-topic poster.
4) Brian Fein - Everything Brian says is pretty much legit.
5) Fau - I wish he posted more, because his 3 word posts are really what i am feeling when I read a thread that is too political for me to touch.


The lists I really want to see, is the top 5 you absolutely disagree with/don't like/hate. That would be an interesting thread.

Funny you mention that, when I started this thread I was hoping someone would take my lead & create a similar spin-off ---> i.e., Worst 5 posters?

Top five, huh?  I'm not sure I could do a list like this because I enjoy what everyone has to say.  If you're not on my list take heart in this: I really mean that.  I enjoy everyone's post.  We all bring good stuff here.

1:  Sunstroke:  I always find myself looking for anything new he's posted each morning.

2:  run_to_win:  Agree with him often?  No.  Is he antagonistic?  Yes.  Is he also well thought out?  You betcha.

3:  April_Fools:  Has anyone else noticed the in depth knowledge this young lady has in regards to football?  She knows her stuff.

4:  Spider_Dan: Not only is Spidey kicking it in my hometown, he's one of the smartest guys on this board.

5: Edgecrusher: Any time I can get into a great debate about baseball with a guy that really knows his stuff, that does something for me.

And, because I know I couldn't get away with only five, I will round it out with my top five honorable mentions: Brian, Dave, Buddha, Guru and CF.

I also really enjoy Tommy's posts when it's not about Cam Cameron.  And when Denver posts something that is serious - it's usually a good read.

GD it!!  This is exactly why I shouldn't post a "top five."  Eht is one of my all-time favorites.  Aurgh.

Favorite posters?  There was the Farrah Fawcett-Majors swimsuit poster...I liked that one a lot. My black light velvet marijuana leaf was a pretty bitchin poster as well.

On this board...hard to limit to 5, but if I had to, it might be:
