I always liked Olbermann as an anchor, but he's since become known for his politics. I certainly didn't like Rush Limbaugh being involved with the NFL, but maybe this is different, since this is where Olbermann started. Please dont pretend you got Dennis's jokes. Olbermann will be fine, and he already has a rapport with Patrick from the ESPN days. It should be better than the travesty that is the MNF booth. Dennis Miller did an excellent job during his time on Monday Night Football.....I'm not sure if I openly wept when he was replaced, but I know it was definitely a sad day.....Dennis ALWAYS made me laugh hysterically during Monday Night Football broadcasts.Keith Olbermann and Dan Patrick will be fine covering the NFL.....as long as there is no Obama....Olberman has a MAJOR hard-on for that guy!!!! ;) Title: Re: Olbermann and Patrick reuniting for Sunday Night NFL Post by: Dave Gray on July 10, 2008, 08:21:29 pm I was always nervous when Dennis Miller was in the booth. It was uncomfortable. I like his stand-up a lot of the time, and enjoy him as a guest on other shows.
It seems like it was forced to get his comedy across during a broadcast. I much prefer Kornheiser's brand of comedy/analysis. It feels like it fits.
