Last year Lorenzo Booker was the media darling, doing very well in camp and giving us hope for the future. He didn't get much of a chance once the season came around, though, and is now an Eagle.

Who's going to be the surprise of this year's camp? Which unregarded player will help us see the light at the end of this dark tunnel?

My early money is on Davone Bess. Undrafted free agent WR.... I think he'll make the team and quite possibly turn into a great slot receiver. He'll need to show he can be physical and that he has the mental capabilities required for a position that's considered much more complex than wideout (there are a lot more reads). He's short (5'10"), but powerful and makes some great cuts. He'll need to prove that he's durable, though, and can keep going over the middle after taking some hits.

I'd like to see Philip Merling pick up where JT left off. That of course isn't going to happen but to see him step up and at least cause a threat would be nice.

My long shot for camp surprise.....I like Jayson Foster to come out of nowhere as a return man and third down threat with his speed and shifty moves.
