As last year, we will be doing confidence points.  Your 2 lowest scores will be dropped this year instead of only one.  If anyone has any suggestions, I will be glad to hear them.  Good luck!

Deadline for entry is Thrusday 5 minutes before gametime.  Don't forget to answert the tiebreakers and sumbit your picks at the bottom of the page.

Yahoo! really sucks. I can't figure out where I can get an overview of the rules. The best I could find was this:

But it's generic, not specific to whatever rules are in place for our league. Bah!

I made it so the two lowest weekly scores will be thrown out.  Otherwise, it is a standard confidence pick.  If you get the winner of the game right, you get the number of points that you assigned to that game.  For instance, NE will probably bash the snot out of KC, so you would want to assign a lot of points to that game.  16 IMO.  Each number can only be used once per week.  good luck

Congrats to Rick for only missing one point in today's games.  That's impressive.

I'm pissed, my picks got wiped out.  I made my picks like Thursday and its showing as though I didn't make any picks.

Good week for it, though. Not as "good" as last week, but very low-scoring.

  Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes!!! ;) ;D

Wow, after all the stuff I went through, I've suddenly vaulted into 4th place, and I'm just a few points behind #3 and #2, and within striking distance of #1. 

I think I have a really good chance of finishing....DEAD LAST!  ;D

Looks like only the top three can realistically win this last week.  Fourth place is quite a good showing for me compared to last season.  And Frimp did not finish dead last.

how are those points determined

Here's how it works.  You pick the winner in each game, straight up.  Then you add your "confidence points"  Anywhere from 16 to 1.  For example, if two strong teams are playing or two weak teams are, and the outcome might be tough to predict, you might want to give that game a low number of confidence points.  If a strong team is playing a weak team and it looks like a lock, you would want to give that game a high number of confidence points. 

For each game you pick correctly, you are awarded those confidence points.  At the end of the season, you drop your two lowest scores. 

Congratulations to St. Louis for a GREAT week... only 1 wrong!  Very Impressive!
