Title: The fucked up thing about Orlando being a Jaguars market.
Post by: YoFuggedaboutit on August 23, 2008, 03:10:51 pm
The Tampa-Jax game is on both CBS and Fox tonight, meanwhile Dolphins fans are left in the dark.  WTF???

You can see the Phins on NFL Network on Sunday morning.

Brighthouse does not have NFL Network.  Plus, I'll be in church Sunday morning.

I just wanna know how they can justify showing one game on two TV stations

DirecTV and a DVR can take care of both of those problems.

Each station markets one team in the preseason so when they play each other we get it on two channels. This doesn't happen during the season as the away team gets the game.   Its the way of the NFL.  What sucks more to me is that even though Channel 6 (CBS ) would rather show Dolphin games during the season,  because they are still the most popular in town, they can  not becuase the NFL will not allow them as long as the Jaguar game is available.

Every season they post the NFLs phone number so we can complain .... to no avail.

In Tampa, CBS plays all the Phins games at the begining of the season for the most part, while FOX has the Bucs...depending on how the phins season goes they change that to say....Indy at Jax or somthing like that....what really pisses me off is if they don't play a phins game and do play something gay like jets at bills

We had that problem when I lived in Stuart,we were just inside the "blackout zone"so whenever the Dolphins didn't sell out a home game(which is often)we would be 'thrilled' to get to watch Buffalo or the Jets or New England, and they all sucked back then.Never mind that national broadcast featuring the two best teams in the league facing off,we got the northeast market game because every other person on the east coast of Florida is from up there.Maddening!

Tampa market fans didn't get that many games last year.  The only games I remember getting were: Washington, Oakland, Houston, NY Giants, Pittsburgh, and @ New England.

Is that so? I remember last year I tried to watch Dolphin games but found about 3 or 4 that were televised over here (Tampa).
