Fins: Final preseason game

What would you like to see tonight from the Dolphins?

My list:

1. No major injuries. Tony Sparano says he will play the starters, but he won't be stupid. The team has been fortunate so far.

2. Ernest Wilford: The same as last week. Show something. It's fine to say that a guy will perform when the lights come on. But the spotlight has been on him for two weeks.

3. Third tight end spot: The team would like to move Justin Peelle, because he is making decent money. If Sean Ryan stays, the Dolphins won't need a second fullback. I don't see either of the Dolphins' fullbacks as long-term locks right now, though most expect Boomer Grigsby to make it.

4. Charlie Anderson/Matt Roth: Anderson returns. Roth is resurgent. Joey Porter's regular season status is in doubt. Can the Dolphins get pressure from the edge?

5. Jason Allen: He has made plays in games, and he seems to be playing more instinctively. But now he's being moved around again, from safety to corner. Can he keep making plays?

I'd rather see them keep both Grigsby and Mauia and only 2 TE's and teach one of them how to be a "H-back" hybrid type of guy.  FB and TE spots seem so similar to me, I don't think it would be that hard for someone to "flex" in that spot.

Why are they moving Jason Allen back to corner?   They know that messes up his ability.

They're not moving him.  They're playing him at corner to try him out.  I think, officially, he'll still be the starter at safety.

OK guys for those of us who can live outside of Florida and want to watch a stream of the game online just send me a private message. I have two links right now, but this does not give us 100% guarantee. There is no software to download. I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Man, Davonne Bess is looking like an animal out there!!!  I'll be surprised if he doesn't make the active roster.

Did I just see Earnest Wilford catch a beautifully thrown bomb from Chad Henne... and go up high to get it too??

Nice job plowing into the pile by Ronnie for a TD.  Looks like he's turning the corner on overcoming that ACL injury.

Pretty impressive drive.  Stared out a little shaky, but good first half.  If not for the fumble it would be 14-3.

Yeah Henne looked startled but then he got his confidence back.

On a more serious note, if that had been John Beck fumbling, he would've had that deer-in-the-headlights look for the rest of the game and fumbled some more when he got hit, just like against the Jets last year.

Chad Henne is a tough, resilient QB who bounced back and led two impressive TD drives to close out the first half.

I'm getting a Chad Henne jersey.

Henne intercepted, he odviously isn't ready to be the starter.

Why are they moving Jason Allen back to corner?   They know that messes up his ability.
Why do American continue to elect the same parties that continually lie to them & screw the country for their own personal gain?  Because they think doing the same thing over & over again will give them different results.

That's one definition of insanity.

Merling just busted out with a sack.  This front seven has been putting some serious pressure on the New Orleans QB's all night.

John Beck is in and he leads a quick three and out.

We should cut him immediately.  He's terrible.

Can someone tell me if Brown had some nice cuts? Plowing up through the middle or even bouncing outside shouldn't be a problem for him. It's the cutting that presents a real issue and should reveal how far along he is both mentally (in trusting the knee) and with regards to proprioception (the knee knowing where it is, so to speak).

My trust in one line from an article is rather slim. There are no detail, nothing. I'm asking "what did Brown actually do?"

Ahh, well, maybe I'll have time to watch it sometime during the weekend.
