What a pathetic showing yesterday by the Atlantic Cupcake Conference. Virgina tech gets beat by East Carolina. I wonder how long that redshirt is going to stay on QB taylor. Virgina gets  manhandled by USC, not that it was unexpected, but they didn't even show up before a record crowd. Now for the grand finale, good ole tommy bowden and the overrated Clemson Creampuffs. This was a chance for Clemson to prove there worth and make a statement for the ACC, yet they got dominated by Saban's boys. Total domination in the trenches by bama. I'm tired of hearing about Bobby's son. He can't win a big game to save his life. He's an average coach at best. That performance was a reflection on the coach. Bama looked like it was playing Auburn and clemson looked like they were preparing for a scrimmage. Where are the saban haters? The guy is a great college coach and a great recruiter.  Way to go ACC. You showed yesterday why no one takes you seriously.

I watched the Gators game yesterday.  It's not even fair.  Were Florida and Hawaii even playing the same sport?  They scored 56-0 in 2 quarters.   That's retarded.

  East Carolina is a pretty good football team....they are going to beat quite a few teams this season ;)..... Sean Glennon did suck at QB for Va Tech.... QB Tyrod Taylor should definitely not be redshirted this season if Beamer wants a shot to win the conference title.

  The ACC is very weak this year.  Although it should feel like it, but it really isn't a surprise that Alabama dominated Clemson the way they did.  Satan's freshman looked good against Clemson, but I want too see what happens when they get hit in the mouth by other SEC team when conference play starts.

How was Clemson ranked #9? They shouldn't even be ranked at all.

While it was a Warm-up game,  The Hurricanes Kicked ASS.. Hope that translate to kickin Florida's ass.

Hawaii needs to play some tough out of conference teams if they want any respect. Unfortunately, they need to find a way not to be destroyed.

The game was a good warm up for the Gators. Real football begins next week against the Hurricanes.

Looks like Miami might be the ACC only hope this year...don't even mention FSU they suck...

its one of the reasons why i have limited interest in the ncaa game anymore. it is truly a league of the have's and have not's. only a few games on the schedule that will be competitive. its becoming so hard to project these supposed "stars" to the nfl level. more than 3/4 of the competition is made up of pop warner teams that barely have enough budget for second hand uniforms.

one loss and you're almost completely out of championship contention. what kind of stupid shit is that?? what burns the hell out of me are the folks that blindly think that the bcs is a good setup. good grief...

You had a two loss team last season winning the national championship.  If that doesn't make the case for a playoff system, I don't know what will.

the season is the playoffs, this is what makes big games so BIG, USC vs Ohio State next week HUGE, y is it so huge, basically thats a playoff game

Not by much.  I saw the way the Canes defense shut down Teblow and the Gaytors in the first half.  I'd be willing to bet Bobby Bowden and every SEC Coach will be looking at tapes of that first half real hard.

Did I ever say that the word "hurricane" referred to UM?I root for Miami when they don't play UF,but a hurricane can also be a storm or a drink or just a nickname.When I first signed on here it just popped into my head,basically because it rhymed with Wayne.

I'll take the Canes over FSU and, of course, UF over FSU. UM certainly gave UF some trouble on offense last week, but the protection problem were worked out by the second half. UF's defense held strong throughout the game.
