Jays are one of the best four teams in the bigs. They could beat anyone in a seven game series.
Had Toronto had the hitting they have now earlier in the season to go with that pitching they would be leading the AL East by 3 games at this point. They would definitely have to sweep all 7 games from Boston to catch them, but then a team like the Twins or Sox would just jump in their place.
Still, a 90-92 win season may save Ricciardi's job. Only in the AL East could a record like that give you a distant 3rd. Fuck, the Yankees may finish 10 games over and be in 4th place.
