Just a minor rant regarding concert goers. If you are going to attend a concert, why would you pay the price of admission to stand around and run your mouth and check your facebook profile from your cell phone? Have some respect for the performer on stage as well as the people around you. I sure as hell didn't pay my cash to listen to you yack and constantly check your phone every 20 seconds. Do us all a favor and STAY HOME!

Had the same thing happen to my wife and I at a comedy club.The couple right behind us were having an argument and on top of that,every 5 seconds dude's "boyz" was callin him an' he was chatting them up while he ignored his girlfriend,who would start bitching at him to get off the phone,like NOW!I handled it like any red-blooded man would handle said situation.........I let my wife take care of it.Seriously,I would have seemed like I was "challenging" him(risking getting myself thrown out) and he wasn't about to say anything remotely rude to my wife for fear of looking like an ass,and when Mrs. landlocked asked them to please be quiet.....all of the other ladies around us started chiming in and telling them to shut the hell up,it was classic.

I once saw a person reading a book at a concert. I wasn't convinced it really happened due to my mental state att he time, but my friends saw it also.

I agree...it's totally disrespectful to the patrons and the artist. They should just tell people to turn off their cell phones like they do in any other paid seminar or function.

I felt that way at a baseball game.  The two teenage girls sitting next to me were watching crap on an ipod the whole time.  I was sitting there thinking how many true fans could not get tickets to this game and you two idiots are not even paying attention?  I wanted to smack them both and their parents for buying them tickets.

If that bothered you, you need to come down here and go to a Marlins game.  Everyone in the seats is texting, or taking pictures of themselves, or something other than paying attention to the game.

Or taking pictures of their seats and texting them to someone else ;D

 I was just in shock, I don't get it. Why waste the money? Not to mention there was a couple getting plastered and groping one another and making out the whole time...get a room already!!
