Its official. Got a bar lined up for next season, a rep with the Dolphins, and stuff on the way for the remaining 3 games and any playoff games. Just stuff to finish off the season with to pump people up for next season.

There are alot of Dolphins fans in Chattanooga, and if I bust my ass during the off season, Chattanooga could be the premiere Dol-Fan club in the US not located in Florida. I'm surprised that no one thought of doing this before me. But, that's ok. I ain't complaining.

The guy said that the Phins are re vamping the way that the fan clubs are done to make them better. When I lived in Charlotte, the club there was really cool, so I have yet another reason to alreay be pumped up for next season.

So, uhmm, what was the answer to your previous question? (How does one become an "official" fan club)

Mr. President, can you blame the fact that the Dolphins went 1-15 next season as the reason we invaded Iraq?

I found the contact us link on the website, and sent them an email. One of their promotion reps emailed me back with a phone number. I called, and he gave me the details. The cost is $250 a year, but the stuff he's sending are just perks. I won't have to pay until after the season. To get the bar, you just have to know someone with a bar who is willing to sport the NFL ticket. Luckily, the guy who owns the bar is a Dolphins fan. That helps.

He hasn't told me yet how they are re vamping it, but if its going to be better than it was before, then its going to be really really cool.

I've got some really creative ideas of my own. There is a Steelers chapter here, and I'm thinking of challenging them to a softball game at some point next season.  ;D

Nice work.  It seems there is a Steelers chapter everywhere--more than one near Hilton Head, SC.

Do you live there? I just left there last April and moved to Columbia. The Steelers chapter I know of there is at Casey's.

Parents live in Sun City which is the way to go once retired.  I bartended at Jock's Sports Bar near there and a few of the regulars were Steelers fans.  Can't remember if Casey's was the name of the place or not. 

The stepdad started a Sun City OSU Buckeyes chapter that had over 100 people immediately.  It was funny to hear someone bitching about how many Ohioans are in that area.  It's all true.
