Can I just say two things?

1) I was right about the explosive start. Nothing like patting yourself on the back.

2) I *hate* the pitch-out. I've complained about it most of the season and it's not exactly growing on me.

Yeah, 'cause all linebackers play the exact same role in a defense. It's not that one of them is constantly sent after the QB or anything and has racked up over 17 sacks or anything.

If you look at the actual games, you'll see he plays a lot like a defensive end, not a traditional linebacker.

Looks like Ronnie is in the doghouse this week.  Ricky is actually getting red zone carries.

Yeah, at a massive clip of 2 yards an attempt in addition to his 13-yard run.

We haven't run the ball much (no kidding, it's 31-31), but R&R aren't getting it done today. I say we give Polite a few more carries. Maybe Cobbs too.

Our special teams play is incredibly frustrating to watch.

We're just not getting enough consistent pressure on the quarterback. A good chunk of that blame has to lie on whomever came up with the defensive game plan today. Pasqualoni, I'm looking at you.

I would like Joey Porter to do anything.  Maybe he will get a sack on 4th and 10 for the last play of the game, and start celebrating like an idiot thinking he actually made a difference in the game.

I don't know why everyone is bitching and moaning like the Chiefs couldn't beat a highschool team! They have talent, they are at home, and it is fucking cold out there! These guys are playing for self respect!

The best thing is that our offense is responding and at least keeping it a game vs. the Cards game where it couldn't end soon enough! I like our chances, and if we win this game and the damn Jets then you bet your ASS we deserve the playoffs! 'Nuf said.

We've had a lot of near-fumbles this year. Players that have fumbled out of bounds, fumbled after they hit the ground out of bounds, fumbled right after they went down and so on. I've said it repeatedly, I'll say it again: HOLD ON TO THE DAMNED BALL. It's something we really need to work on. We've been VERY lucky this year.

A pyrrhic victory if you ask me.

I would bet the game next week will look completely different next week. It is definitely a game that we can win.

My only wishes this year were to get enough of a lead to see Henne play and to beat the Jets. I'll settle for the win but a blowout so we can see Henne play would be gravy and I likes gravy!!

I was at that game yesterday and it was frikkin' brutal!  I was born and raised here in Kansas and I'm used to cold winters, but that beyond cold.  I don't give a damn how close it was, I never thought Miami could play like that (Offensively) in those conditions.  That wind was like a knife.  And to see guys like Jake Long not even wearing sleeves, good lord!  Those is some men! :D

Apparently they even showed me up in the stands sometime during the game. I was bundled up like Randy from 'A Christmas Story' and wearing a black ski mask and my #94 Dolphins jersey over my coat.
