Well, the Dolphins have an EXTREMELY tough task today to beat the Jets on the road.  Not only are they playing against the JEts, they are playing against history, as 6 years ago almost to the day, they were in the same situation, only against NE and we all know how that turned out.

Anyway, the questions are:

1) Can the Dolphins avoid turning the ball over and force some TOs from Farve?

2) How much of the wildcat will we see today?  Will there be any new quirks?

3) Will the receivers come to play today?

Of course everyone will come to play today.

It will boil down to:

can we get enough pressure on favre? 
can we run the ball?
can we contain leon washington?

If we Pay too much attention to Leon Washington,and Dustin Keller over the middle,it leaves single coverage on Jerricho Cotchery 69 catches 817 yards 5tds,and Laveranues Coles 66 catches 762 6 Tds....With a gimpy Will Allen.... :(

It was intentional grounding because he was about to be sacked and the ball was a MINIMUM of 20 yards from anyone. He didn't overthrow it a little, it was passed midfield and he was at the 15.

Simms was a QB, so of course he is on their side. I don't hold it against them.

First half comments: While it's tough to blame anyone on D when they only allow 6 points on the board with a few minutes left (and scored on a pick-6), Crowder really hasn't looked good out there. He's committed several penalties and hasn't looked good in coverage.

I don't blame Ricky for not catching the deep bomb. I did at first, not the least because of his history, but running backs don't practice catching bombs in the wind - and it's VERY windy out there. Gusty and unpredictable.

Likewise, I don't blame Ronnie for not hitting the open receiver on the Wild Cat throw. In many ways, it's easier to chuck it down field as a running back than it is to put some touch on it.

Pennington hasn't looked sharp and is lucky not to have a couple of INTs on his stat sheet... and at least one of those would have been a pick-6 very much like Favre's.

Overall, I like the play-calling today, although the very first play on offense was risky as hell: The Wild Cat inside the end zone. Ronnie did an exceptional job getting a yard and a half on that. I really hope they don't go conservative...

No, the D is being burnt by the O that the Jets SHOULD have been running the whole time. It's what Favre does best, it's similar to what the Jets have had success with in the past (quick passes) and it's what minimizes the probability of Favre throwing picks.

I've heard several "DE-FENSE" chants when the Jets had the ball, and I just heard a "Let's go Dol-phins!" chant on the first play after the blocked punt.
