Arizona 31 Atlanta 28- Arizona has a battle-tested, playoff ready QB. Atlanta has Matt Ryan who has suddenly gone INT crazy, and is a rookie to boot. I don't care how good rookie QB's perform in the regular season, there is a reason they don't go far in the playoffs. Nothing can prepare them for that type of experience. Indianapolis 41 San Diego 38- Both teams have QB's that are on fire, so expect this game to be a classic shootout. However, the Colts D is slightly better and they have revenge on their mind from last season. I think this game comes down to mistakes. For the gamblers, take the over on O/U. Philadelphia 20 Minnesota 14- Philly's D will stack the line to contain Adrian Peterson and dare Tavares Jackson to beat them. Minnesota's D will stack the line to contain Brian Westbrook and dare Donovan McNabb to beat them. In a situation like this one, I have to go with McNabb. Philadelphia Indianapolis Title: Re: Predictions - Wild Card playoffs Post by: YoFuggedaboutit on January 03, 2009, 07:42:31 pm I don't care how good rookie QB's perform in the regular season, there is a reason they don't go far in the playoffs. Nothing can prepare them for that type of experience. Matt Ryan's stat line 26/40 for 199 yards. 2 TD 2 INT, 1 fumble lost, sacked 3 times, one for a safety. Looks like he was caught totally off guard by the magnitude of this game I predict all four road teams win. Arizona 30 Atlanta (road team) 24 Care to repeat that? Being reviewed.
Title: Re: Predictions - Wild Card playoffs Post by: Frimp on January 03, 2009, 09:33:29 pm After review.... the Chargers fans are pissed! ;D
Title: Re: Predictions - Wild Card playoffs Post by: Frimp on January 03, 2009, 10:21:19 pm And, nothing has changed. Chargers fumble and its looks like he was down by contact, but they give it to the Colts.
The refs HATE the Chargers. >:( Title: Re: Predictions - Wild Card playoffs Post by: StL FinFan on January 04, 2009, 12:33:51 am The Chargers got the last laugh.

Title: Re: Predictions - Wild Card playoffs Post by: doctord56 on January 04, 2009, 08:43:38 am I predict all four road teams win. As of Sunday morning, you are zero for two. I can only hope (for my dolphins) that your trend continues. Title: Re: Predictions - Wild Card playoffs Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on January 04, 2009, 08:52:20 am As of Sunday morning, you are zero for two. I can only hope (for my dolphins) that your trend continues. I might get 2 out of 4 predictions right! You on the other hand didn't bother making a prediction so you will be 0 for 4 no matter the outcome. You on the other hand didn't bother making a prediction so you will be 0 for 4 no matter the outcome. Actually, I predicted that the dolphins lose 24-13. I only hope my prognosticating abilities are as accurate as yours have been, and that I end up zero for one. Title: Re: Predictions - Wild Card playoffs Post by: YoFuggedaboutit on January 04, 2009, 09:23:06 pm Flacco wasn't all that today. The Ravens defense was what dominated this game. Another example of rookie QB's not doing well in the playoffs.
