Title: Cardinals still haven't sold out - blackout risk Post by: fyo on January 02, 2009, 04:17:50 pm The NFL have extended the deadline, giving them until 2:30pm (local) to get the remaining tickets sold or Phoenix is going to experience a blackout.
It looks like they'll manage it - only about a couple thousand tickets left - but still... They also had to get the TV station to guarantee the sale of the tickets or they wouldn't have sold out their playoff game against KC in the 1990 season.
Personally, I think it's pathetic if a playoff game does not get sold out. A PLAYOFF GAME?? Even more pathetic when it's the Arizona Cardinals who haven't hosted a playoff game since Moby Dick was a minnow. This says a lot about Arizona fans. But playoff game should sell out with in 2 hours of tickets going on sale.
