I think they had a lot of people already in place and picking up Turner was huge in helping Matt Ryan. Sure, the Vick thing was a disaster but the Falcons had better personnel to start with and they won a few more games. How do you think the Falcons were worse? I think Parcells hurt Sparano's chances though. Still, I'm calling bullshit. We were one game from being the worst team of all time last year. Sparano got screwed. Likewise when I said I thought Chad should be MVP, I wasn't saying Peyton sucked, just that I though Chad deserved it more. As a Dolphin fan, I would have liked to see Sparano win it (or at least share the honor), but Mike Smith is certainly a worthy choice.
