He's at fault for throwing away a 5th round pick on a washed up 37 year old who is one more big hit from having a bowl of jello for a brain.  Additionally, he's at fault for guiding this team to the worst record in its history, so he'll be called out on every move he made.

a 5th round pick, in today's NFL is worthless.  The team needed a QB, and Trent was on the market.  It was a good move for the team.

every year, approximately 32 5th round picks are selected.  You've named 3.  In the past 10 years of 5th round picks, there are 320+ players you have never even heard of.

So am I, but I'm not over what Cam Cameron did to this team.... or what Wanny did for that matter.  That's something that I probably will never get over.

Because that's what a lot of the mods tend to do.  There are certain people on here that have engaged in conduct unbecoming of mods, and as such, they should seriously consider passing their mod job to someone else.

I'm so sick and freakin' tired of reading about your fictitious "moderator agenda" that you whip out of your back pocket any time someone disagrees with you.  Do you really think the mods all get together behind closed doors to discuss how we can piss off Tommy and Defense today?  Sorry, our lives are far more important than that.

The mods on this site are moderators because they're people whot he site owner (Dave) trusts to carry out his vision for the site.  Not because they all agree with him.  Not because they all help propagate his "agenda."

Truth is, all the mods are PEOPLE too, and they're all entitled to their opinions as much as you are, Tommy.  In my OPINION, your incessant ranting about Cam Cameron is getting annoying at best.   My opinion.  Or are you going to say that anyone with blue stars under their name should check their opinions at the login screen?

So, maybe you're right - maybe the moderators DO have an agenda.  And that is to keep the forums fun, energetic, occasionally stir the pot to generate conversation, but most of all keep people talking and encourage the expression of opinions.  I'd love to hear what your brain thinks the moderator agenda is, Tommy.  No doubt you think we're all "trying to keep the man down..."

I will stick up for the mods here.  Yes, they sometimes get into debates and yes sometimes they may take it too far but for the most part they handle the board well and (which some of us should be grateful for).  They don't summarily ban people without giving them a chance.  Neither have I seen any of them try to run other members (or potential new members) off the board.  Nor have I seen them use homosexual terms as a means to insult someone (a sore spot with me for those that don't know).  This board is way better than many boards out there.  If you don't like the way it's run, you can leave, nobody is keeping you here.

I also have to stick up for the mods on this one...although I rarely agree with most of their opinions, and I agree, they take things too far from time to time (we all do that though), there are some really bad boards out there.  I joined one recently (non sports related) and was pretty much warned I was going to be banned just because I didn't agree with their opinions...I left that one pretty quickly...the mods here are usually very friendly to new members, give people chance after chance when they would have been banned on other forums, and are pretty open minded on people's opinions...like I said, I don't agree with them a lot of the time, but they do a good job running this forum...hey someone has to be the bad guy, and a lot of people see that as the ones with power, even if it is as small as being a moderator of a Dolphins fan site.

Bullshit.  There have been several instances where a mod has brought my name into an conversation in a negative way, without me even being involved in that conversation.  Those attacks were completely unprovoked. 

Here's a perfect example of where it happened.  Although that's only one instance, this has happened from more than one mod.

This is a sports team, and you are supposed to watch them play for entertainment. It is not supposed to take over your life to the point that it affects you so negatively that you have to come on to a message board and continually rail and rant.
All of us who cheer for the same team had to suffer as much as the ranters, yet you have made things even less enjoyable with your serial rantings over things in the past that none of us can change.
Relax and get over it, or find a new form of entertainment that does not affect your emotions and passions so negatively.

Exactly and thats really what I was talking about.  But ya know what........we had a hell of a season and I'm just not in the mood for fighting. I just think alot of people here take Tommy for granted.  I've been a season Ticket holder and I've been around some die hard fans, Tommy was one of the most die hard Dolphins I've ever met.
