Title: NBA taking a loan Post by: Phishfan on February 26, 2009, 11:42:20 am I just heard on ESPN that the NBA is asking for a $175M loan from a bank (i can't remember which one but it was a big one) to offset team losses in revenue. I think they said 13 team asked the league for the money.

I thought MLB was bad with paying solid guys superstar money, they have nothing on the NBA in terms of ridiculous contracts. Stephon Marbury is the 2nd highest paid player in the league.
