Title: It's D'Antoni, NOT D'Antonio!!!!!!! Post by: jtex316 on February 28, 2009, 08:06:35 pm How difficult is it to say this, idiots? His fucking name is not ANTONIO with an O, it's D'Antoni, with an I at the end!!!
I've never once misspelled or mispronounced his name but every god damn person on TV thinks his name is Antonio. How hard is this, idiots????? Title: Re: It's D'Antoni, NOT D'Antonio!!!!!!! Title: Re: It's D'Antoni, NOT D'Antonio!!!!!!! Post by: SCFinfan on March 01, 2009, 10:34:28 am I hate it when the college football announcers pronounce the word "Clemson" like it has a z (Clemzin) or p (Clempson) in it.

Is it: Lou-ee-ville or Lou-ull-ville I've heard both... Title: Re: It's D'Antoni, NOT D'Antonio!!!!!!! Post by: stinkfish on March 06, 2009, 10:21:30 am Anyone here from MA. will attest to how many different ways that they've heard the city of Worcester pronounced.
Title: Re: It's D'Antoni, NOT D'Antonio!!!!!!! Post by: SportsChick on March 06, 2009, 11:49:16 am Born and raised in MA. Worchester is a city that has pronunciations depending on what part of MA you're from.
As for Jaguars or Clemson, part of it is accents. Remember that Boston people drop R's and add them where they don't belong. For the most part I've stopped doing it (I've lived in S. Fla since '94) but there are some words that still give me fits. Oh and when I get pissed, forget it, I drop R's left and right Title: Re: It's D'Antoni, NOT D'Antonio!!!!!!!
