Title: I miss football. Post by: Dave Gray on March 03, 2009, 02:18:42 pm Normally, it takes several months before I really start to jones for it. It's come early this year. I think it's because the economy is crappy, so I'd enjoy relaxing with a beer on Sunday and watching the game.

I miss it because the Dolphins made the playoffs for the first time in ages...... and I can't wait to see what Tuna has up his sleeve for next season. Title: Re: I miss football. In that midsummer lull when it's hot and sticky, it's not so much fun. No one wants to watch the Marlins and the Nationals play each other on a Wednesday night in July in front of 600 fans. That's why mid June to late July is the worst time of the sports year for me. Title: Re: I miss football. How can you not get excited about the Stanley Cup Playoffs?

I hate the NBA, I'm not a NHL fan, and lets face it.........MLB isn't what it used to be. The Draft is almost upon us , that will give us something to chew on for a while and then Training camp is right around the corner!

I hear he is making he debut later this week and being the Dodgers are in AZ for spring training this year I am going to have to catch a few more games this year than I have in the past. I love the NBA playoffs and March Madness as well. NHL....you mean people are still watching hockey....j/k. I think the Stanley Cup Playoffs are exciting to watch especially in the later rounds!!!!
