He didn't have a great carreer with the Dolphins, but its not exactly like the o-line gave him much time nor did he have any decent recievers to throw to either. I am guessing one of the things that BB likes about him, is his extremely low ints rate. Lemon played in both games against the Pats in 2007, BB must have seen something in him he liked. Given what he had to work with in 2007, I thought he did an okay job. He had be a arena football quarterback because the defense was so horrid, the other teams would score at will on us. Plus, Ginn hadn't fully developed, so he had nobody to throw to.
I'd be very intrigued to see how Lemon would do in NE with all that talent at WR. But I'm not going to root for Brady to get injured again. From what little I saw of both of them, I lean that way as well. But it is hard to judge either of them. Both were on really crappy teams so not a real good indication of what they might be able to accomplish with a decent o- line and wrs. Personnaly I would rather not find out though as he will likely be 3rd on the depth chart. Lemon was a decent QB, IMO he would be a great backup on any team that has the depth to afford a few injuries. I have seen Walter play and see NOTHING that is worth having on your team. |
