How awesome was that stadium full of cow-humpers in dead silence when Tynes hit that field goal for the second time? How awesome was Jerry Jones' disgusting goop face at witnessing a last second loss in his new bajillion $ stadium? Pretty effin' awesome if you ask me... ;D

We still have no QB to speak of, and our top draft pick is AWOL...but we have a solid defense and a very nice running game, and in the weak-ass NFC West, that can win you a few ballgames. Post by: Sunstroke on September 21, 2009, 09:18:49 am Yeah, both of those guys looked outstanding...and lest we forget, they also have everyone's favorite "big-fast-raw" WR prospect from this past draft, Ramses Barden, being groomed in the wings. Smith and Manningham are both on the south side of 6 feet tall, so neither really fit the "big WR" role. Barden, at 6'6", could really help if he starts "getting it." I think we need to temper our hype of Mario Manningham for a bit. Steve Smith - not so much because he's shown flashes of this before and he can do stuff like this more consistently. Manningham? Not so fast (yet). The G-Men play @ Tampa Bay next, and even though on paper it's an easier match-up, don't expect these massive WR numbers (and more numbers from the ground game this time).
