Title: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: Tepop84 on September 21, 2009, 11:57:03 pm Ronnie Brown IMO. If they had this gameplan against ATL they would have won. There is no team that can stop this offense when they force the run. Fuck the defense.

Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: Tenshot13 on September 22, 2009, 12:21:16 am You just earned a ton of respect in my book Tepop...Ronnie is my game ball as well.
Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: Dolphster on September 22, 2009, 07:50:31 am Ronnie Brown get the game ball. Kudos also to the special teams who played an awesome game last night. Especially on kickoff coverage.
Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: Dolphster on September 22, 2009, 09:56:36 am Honorable mention to Carpenter who hit 3 field goals of over 40 yards in distance. And a couple of them were off of that crappy dirt infield.
Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: DZA on September 22, 2009, 10:09:55 am Even though the Fins lost ::) ::) GB goes to Ronnie Brown.
Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: Thundergod on September 22, 2009, 11:52:09 am Ronald. He had a helluva game.
Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: Brian Fein on September 22, 2009, 11:57:09 am I'm shocked to see Tepop give Ronnie props. At least we know he's an objective hater. ;)
I don't want to give my game ball to Ronnie, but I can't think of anyone else that deserves it. Ginn had 11 catches for 108 yards but that big drop in the end zone killed it. Pennington had a decent game but the clock management at the end (although not his fault, he could have done something to help) killed it. Ricky ran hard at times. Carpenter had 3 FG's but missed a big one in the 3rd qtr. Ronnie scored 2 TD and a hundred-thirty-something on the ground. Got it - Sean Smith for shutting down Reggie Wayne. He played very well in this game. Ronnie Brown gets the game ball, with HM to Sean Smith. Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: Doc-phin on September 22, 2009, 12:00:42 pm Ronnie was great, and deserving. However, I am going to go with the O-line. They dominated and pretty much any of our backs could run behind them. They also did a great job on pass protect. Jake Long didn't look pretty, but he got the job done.
Major kudos to our o-line for bouncing back in a big way! Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: JVides on September 22, 2009, 12:49:14 pm Ronnie Brown, the only skill position player on the team that scares anyone. Hell of a performance. Now, can we go back to featuring him the way (wait for it...) Cam Cameron did before he got injured? I'm thinking Ronnie left, Ronnie right, Ronnie up the middle, Ronnie catching it out of the backfield.

pretty lengthy part on the game last night. Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: BigDaddyFin on September 22, 2009, 02:12:25 pm The offensive line. They dominated that game and it sucks that we lost it.
Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: BigDaddyFin on September 22, 2009, 02:13:30 pm HM to the fans for actually making it feel like the Orange Bowl again.
Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: Brian Fein on September 22, 2009, 03:35:26 pm HM to the fans for actually making it feel like the Orange Bowl again. I gotta agree with this. The stadium felt energetic. This was the most pumped I've seen the fans for a game in a long time. I wonder if it has to do with the lack of 1000 degree heat and blazing sunlight? It was good to see...Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 22, 2009, 06:26:28 pm Who did Dallas Clark keep burning? I would give him the game ball because the Colts don't win without him.
Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: David Fulcher on September 22, 2009, 09:46:05 pm Ronnie Brown IMO. If they had this gameplan against ATL they would have won. There is no team that can stop this offense when they force the run. Fuck the defense. I know that several other posters have commented on it, but still, I gots to go there... *starts shouting and waving his arms like a madman* Alright, guys, someone stop the presses! It's probably too late for this coming week's edition, but maybe it can make it for the next one! I think that we've got our Sports Illustrated's "Sign of the Apocalype" for the week. :D Seriously, though, Tepop, I'm proud of you, too. I appreciate that you might have an objective bone in your body after all. ;) HM to the offensive line as far as I'm concerned, too. I don't care how light the Colts' defensive front may be; after last weekend against the Falcons, I'll take 239 yards of rushing with a near 5 yard avg and not too heavy of a pass rush from Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney any day. Title: Re: Game ball - Colts 9/21/09 Post by: Sunstroke on September 23, 2009, 12:29:51 pm O-line as a unit gets my game ball... Every snap, wildcat or straight, they controlled the line of scrimmage and pushed Indy's D-line 3-4 yards downfield. |
