Sure he wasn't loaded. Everyone I know just randomly hops into a car at 2:25 am. to go for a ride....LOL!

Alcohol was not the cause, according to the report from the scene.  He was released in good condition.

Nice cover up. I am sure some people will be or were nicely compensated. He gets away with it this time since their was no other vechicle involved, just property. I'd like to know where he was headed at 2:25 am. You don't find anything suspicious about that Dave?

My mother once totally destroyed the front end of an old Mercury Marquis (when they looked like tanks back in the early 80's) at less than 3 mph, backing out of parking spot at the Portland, ME airport at about 1:30 AM after coming in on a massively delayed flight. She hooked one of the concrete support pillars, didn't realize that was what was impeding her progress, depressed the accelerator a little more, and pretty much ripped the entire front end right off. She was uninjured, thankfully, but the Merc was toast...

Apparently his wife took one of his golf clubs and smashed the car window with it to get him out. 

If I were her, I would've smacked him upside the head with it afterwards for wrecking the car.   ;D

I'm with you DB, this just doesn't make any sense. You're headed somewhere at 2:25am in the morning and you have all kind of servants and administrators that could make that milk run for you?

Then the wife gets to him through bashing the window with a club? That means that she had to see him leave.

Domestic violence maybe? Who knows? We're not allowed to audit the press or what we hear in America any more. We'll be called conspiracy theorists. This story just doesn't sound right.

I think he was drinking personally and it was a cover up.  No proof, just throwing shit at the wall to see if it sticks.

Well after tonight I now know how badly you can fuck up a car at lower speeds and sober, so I will not judge.

I'm waiting for the statement to come out, I'm just glad the guy didn't get hurt too bad because golf is better with him than without him.

I would be surprised if he was loaded, only because everything I've read and heard about the guy screams that he's a health nut and doesn't drink.  Evidently he was leaving his house, something makes me wonder if he fell asleep at the wheel, which wouldn't surprise me if his kid was up crying and he had to get up out of a dead sleep and get medicine for the kid or something like that.

The other thing is if he had a fight with his wife, got pissed off and left. 

What the media keeps doing to add fuel to the fire is saying "charges may still be filed" over and over again.  Of course charges are going to be filed.  The guy ran over a fire hydrant and that's destruction of public property, so naturally the city's going to want him to fix it. 

The statement and the tapes are going to be released tomorrow, so I'm expecting anything but something tells me what happened wasn't all that serious.

Here's what I don't understand.

If you're Tiger Woods, you are probably given a vehicle that you can speak to and it opens four doors. Or you can press the code on it and the doors would open.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was a domestic incident and she followed him out to the car and in a rage, took the thing that he's symbolized with and smashed in the back window before he left the property. I don't believe she busted the window at the accident.

If it was a domestic issue, then Tiger Woods did the right thing and  left the scene. Tiger lives a secluded life, so we really don't know him.

What's also strange is that he's DECLINED two interview requests which makes this whole situation look bizarre. Something went down and his lawyers are working on PR damage and image control if something like a domestic argument did happen.

What's amazing is that if you or I had been in that situation, the Florida Highway Patrol would have locked our "normal citizen" asses up.

And you have to be smokin some real good weed to think that the press is going to report anything but the bottom line because they fear being cut off from Woods. Woods has a status equivalent to Michael Jordan and when ESPN crossed Jordan, you see how he treated them.

The forensics of this situation would make it really easy to tell "where" she and the vehicle was at when she struck it with the golf club.

Not if it happened on their property and they do not allow access to the property to investigate. Sans an airbag deployment, I am curious how he earned those marks on his face and was unconscious when the first person on the scene arrived and called 911

^^^ Exactly!! He was loopy when he was leaving meaning she probably had  already hit him before he got in. Then she went to work on his car as he was backing out.  That's my theory anyway.

I saw the supposed "mistress" on TV yesterday. She is hotter than the wife.

Wow.  That's saying something, because the wife is ridiculous.

I like it...good base for a soap opera episode. Any chance you can work some aliens or zombies into the plot?

Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury...Is this woman worth risking getting your ass beat over?

Its pretty quiet over here on the subject of Tiger Woods "Slippin into darkness". I wonder what every one is thinking about. Husbands, if it can happen to Tiger, it could happen to you! :D

It's not her, unless he was cheating with more than one other woman.

His new name is "Cheetah."

She most certainly is....... especially with those lips.  Then again, I'm more partial to brunettes.

It can happen to anyone if they get put in the right situatiion as they will fall. Each person in a committed relationship must commit to putting up hedges around their marriage to  protect it or they could easily fall.  You can think of it as a fenced in playground that you share with your spouse.

For instance ... if I spend alone time with members of the opposite sex who attract me sooner or later I will bite. even if it is only emotional i will fall. Same with my spouse. Much faster if you add alcohol. First step is to admit when I find myself attracted to someone so that my spouse can help to hold me accountable. 

Those individuals who do not want to give up their privacy to the other person nor actually be 100% transparent should not get married. Being 99% honest is still being dishonest in my opinion.

Reports are that there are three of them. Some deny it others are putting voice mails out to the public.

I don't think that marriage is for a lot of people. Some people are not made to be married but yet have sexual desires.

Woods didn't seem like to me that he was an ideal family man not because of women but the dedication to his craft. People don't realize that you can love what you do so much until it takes a life of its own and you're married to that thing you love (music, sports, etc).

I don't care what anyone says, a lot of these women are scandalous. No one looks at the woman and her motives. There's only a small percentage of them that have the right intent and do have integrity.

And some women have a way of driving a man into another woman's arms. Women are VERY competitive when it comes to men. That's why if you have a great wife, you should keep her because if you're shopping for one with integrity and class, the stores have damn near ran out of them.

I'd better be quiet before I get accused of being male chauvinist!

Like my grandmother use to say, you'd better examine the package before you get tied into it!

I think it's as easy as priorities. If you want a "family man" or "family wife" you need to make sure that their looks aren't the most important thing to them.

I'm not saying they can't be attractive but if they worry more about their hair, body image etc than they do about how much time they get to spend with their kids it's a pretty good possiblity they won't be committed to the relationship. If the man's more worried about working, hanging with his buddies, or golf then is a pretty good sign of how committed to mommy he is going to be. 

I get what you are saying.  I trust very few women.  I am way more comfortable around men.
