Unreal. Texas beat Nebraska by one in huge part to another stupid, moronic kicker kicking the kickoff out of bounds giving them the ball at the 40 with less then 1:30 in the game.

 I like Texas and want them to win, but I don't see them having a chance in hell against Alabama.

Congrats to the college football system once again. TCU, Cincy & Boise State don't get to prove they are the best on the field.

Nobody ever said Saban was a bad college coach.  He just sucked the big one at the NFL level.

That being said, Go Texas!  They are a much better team than they looked like tonight.

I really wanted to see the Big East represent in the title game, but Texas had to pull one out of their ass!  Probably wouldn't have mattered, b/c if Texas lost TCU would have been in.

No they are not. They barely beat a team that was one dimensional tonight, and barely made it past A&M. Texas is not nearly as strong as they were a couple years ago.
Alabama's defense is considered better than Nebraska's and they have a much better offense too.

agreed. Who knows though, in college you get almost a month to prepare for your bowl game, which is ridiculous.

Speaking of prepared, Alabama came prepared.... they had some offensive formations that threw the Gaytors completely off balance.  It says a lot when your offense gains 490 yards on the top defense in the nation, and your defense shuts out a top notch offense in the second half.... especially on a stage as big as this.

I love Alabama and Nick Saban.

Tebow - you are a joke. You have a slower wind-up than Hideo Nomo, and you telegraph every ball you throw. You're a big slow meat-head who will get KILLED in the National Football League. Jesus Christ, do you actually wacth the games. Tebow wasnt the reason the gators lost. They lost because alabama was more physical and dominated a gators defense that was the best in the nation. You can hate all you want, but the guy is a great college player and  has the rings to prove it.

As for Texas, they are going to ge killed by Bama. Saban had to be licking his chops after seeing what nebraska was able to do. Texas offensive line sucks. Bama will just pound them physically and force McCoy into numerous mistakes. The SEC will once again pound an overrated Big 12 team.

Suh is a beast of a d lineman for the Huskers though. Does Bama have anyone similiar to his abilities?

If the Dolphins really want a nose tackle, sign Vince Wilfork.  He's a free agent after this year.

That would be great if he isn't resigned, then we could use our first rounder on Damien Williams or Rolando McClain.
