Title: Where will Ginn end up next year?
Post by: dolphins4life on December 22, 2009, 04:34:03 pm
With each passing week, it's beginning to look more and more like Ginn will not be in a Miami Uniform next year.

Where do you think he'll end up?

Hopefully the Raiders, and Al Davis will give us a 2nd rounder for him :D

I don't see one single thing indicating Ginn won't be around next year.  I'd love to know what these signs you're seeing are.

They will give Ginn a contract with incentives based on his play and work him at KR-PR exclusively next year. He is a threat to change the game on special teams so I see Miami keeping him.

Ginn already has a contract for next year.

Ginn already has a contract for next year.

And they will approach him to restructure it or risk being released.

I think that Ginn will be here next year.

Ask your self this- If Jason Allen has managed to be in Miami this long (playing primarily special teams), why wouldn't Ginn be in Miami next year?

Tommy- why would they ask him to restructure a contract which only pays him about $1Million next year? His bonus money his already paid, so his actual salary is very minimal.

No, they won't...

He is hardly seeing the field.  That's what I'm seeing.

Funny, I see him touch the ball 6-10 times per game.

Are you counting drops? Because that makes it 13-15 times a game.

Ginn will be right here, dropping passes and aggravating most of us to no end. Hopefully it will be as a secondary WR though, meaning that I hope we'll have a better WR to call a #1 target by the time next season comes around.

The #1 target is named "Bess" right now.  I'd much rather see Bess in a slot receiver role, a good, quick, over the middle possession guy, with Ginn and (insert #1 WR here) stretching the field on the outside.

Similar to the Moss - Welker - Aiken mold the Pats have going on...

Ginn is fourth on the WR depth chart. Camarillo, Bess and Hartline are the first three.

if they add a true #1 receiver through free agency, then ginn at best is #5 on the depth chart.

i still think they should add a veteran, and draft someone else within the first few rounds of the draft. in that case, ginn could be as far down as #6 on the depth chart. ouch...

I would imagine that Ginn will probably still be a Dolphin, but I sure hope not.  As someone else mentioned in another thread, today (the Houston game) he is returning kicks like he is truly afraid of getting hit (even more so than usual).  They guy is slowing down and starting to go down before anyone even gets to him.

WHAT DO THEY SEE IN GINN, CANT CATCH THE MONEY BALL WHEN WE NEED IT AND OMG HIS YARDS AFTER CONTACT IS LIKE -10, HE FOLD LIKE AN ENVELOPE WHEN SOMEBODY TOUCH HIS *!@*. when is jason gonna stop that running around the mulberry bush to get to the quarterback. Is it to much to ask to get a Prime time nose tackle to put presure up the middle. my bag i get carry away. No to Ginn next year!!!!!
