Title: Whats Going To Happen To LaDainian Tomlinson?
Post by: ethurst22a on January 25, 2010, 08:21:52 pm
I'm pretty convinced that when the Chargers let Lorenzo Neal walk that LaDanian Tomlinsons' career went with him.

What should LT do? Retire? To me, he doesn't have that burst anymore and doesn't run through tacklers. I hate to see a running back that was once so good become below average. I think LT is only 30 years old.

Should he call it a career? Here's another question. Is he a first ballot Hall of Famer and if he is, would it be fair to Terrell Davis, who had a brief dynamic career with the Broncos including MVP of the Super Bowl, a 2,000 yard season and two Super Bowl rings?

I think Tomlinson still has gas in the tank and could be great again in the right role.  The problem with the Chargers is that they WILL NOT commit to Tomlinson and use Sproles almost in a 50/50 split.

I think giving LT 20-25 carries a game is still a possibility but he needs to be in the right place.  Maybe Indy, Denver, or Chicago might be a good fit for him.

Its tough - he's still got something to prove but his situation isn't going to get him anywhere any time soon.

I completely agree Brian. LT would be great in Indy I think.

bring him here as insurance for brown and an aging ricky.  he's a great fit for the wildcat.

lt is done... you can find in the later rounds of the draft all of what lt can bring to an nfl team and more for way cheaper.
