Wanted to start a thread about the video shown on Mike & Mike this morning, where a fan actually taped a conversation between Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, and another Cowboys fan. Jerry threw Parcells under the bus, saying at one point that "Bill's not worth a shit..." among other unsavory comments.

Then I just noticed a new article up there, about Jerry calling Parcells to explain, and that all was good. Excuse me? I'm not buying that for a damned minute. Parcells may be saying the PC thing here, but I think deep down, he wishes he could run into Jerry in a dark alley with no witnesses around, so he could express his true feelings on the matter.

I think that this is much ado about nothing.  There is no privacy anymore.  Having someone say something in a bar shouldn't be held to the same standard as an official statement.  God knows I've said shit about people that I like in a frank manner, where even though it was probably true, I'd have found a way to sugar-coat it in person.

I don't think it's a big deal.  ...or a deal at all, really.

I saw the video yesterday. I have always thought Jerry Jones was a joke anyway.

Just what would Jerry's COwboys legacy be if it were not for that horrible trade Minnisota made for Walker?

i saw it... he was drunk, and seemed like he was joking with the parcells references. it wasn't anything serious.

Exactly...without that trade his legacy would be his freakish stretched cat-face.

I am with Dave on this one.  If he had said this in a press conference it would be a different story.  I have said a lot worse when with friends at a bar.

This is not the samething as Rex Ryan's trash talking or flipping the bird. 

We discussed this when it happend. I hate Rex Ryan, but the Dolphin fans on hand were out of line. They were probably lucky all they got was the bird shot at them.
