Title: Friend now writes for the Marlins Post by: Dave Gray on September 15, 2010, 03:15:41 pm http://florida.marlins.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100915&content_id=14689086&vkey=news_fla&fext=.jsp&c_id=fla
A good friend of mine (and overall really smart guy) got a job writing for MLB. He moved to NY and has to covers the Yankees and Mets, mostly, but once in a while he gets to write for his favorite team, The Marlins. This is his latest article. If you have time in your busy day, baseball fans, give it a read, and comment. I appreciate it. Was Adam writing / blogging for the Marlins the last time they were in the WS (versus NYY)? I am pretty sure I had dinner with him (and a bunch of people) after one of the games in South Florida that year.

Title: Re: Friend now writes for the Marlins Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on September 16, 2010, 09:35:54 am Nothing personal against your friend. But I have no use for his kind. Yeah, every team has them including the teams I root for. But I think they are all useless.
Never have been a fan nor ever will be of the team employees acting like they are reporters so they can write puff pieces that look like actual new stories. I would rather read beat reporters stories, than a guy hired by the team to be a cheerleader.
