Title: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: dolphins4life on October 31, 2010, 04:04:35 pm Obviously, this goes to Dan Carpenter.
Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: StL FinFan on October 31, 2010, 04:11:25 pm The Defense
Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: Dave Gray on October 31, 2010, 04:27:42 pm Dan Carpenter - 5/5, with a career long.
Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 31, 2010, 05:11:43 pm Dan Carpenter once again, with very honorable mention to the defense. Basically, they allowed one TD on a long scoring drive, and then the 2nd TD was off of a Henne INT and even then we literally handed the ball to them on a botched INT.
Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: bsfins on October 31, 2010, 06:11:49 pm Dan Carpenter 5 field goals The 54 yarder a the end of the half...Lovin it....
Honorable mention...My O.J. Mcduffie Jersey,I wear it good things happen.... :D Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: StL FinFan on October 31, 2010, 06:36:58 pm ^ Then my dog gets HM because I put a Dolphins bandanna on him today. :D
Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: mecadonzilla on November 01, 2010, 12:19:35 am The game ball should go to Mike Nolan. He took a defense that was playing like utter crap after 1 quarter, and turned them into a defense that required a freak play to score on them at all after that. That's a major adjustment.
Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: Tenshot13 on November 01, 2010, 12:37:01 am 1. Carpenter
2. Nolan and the defense I'd like to mention that Crowder had a good game. I wouldn't give him a game ball or an HM, especially because of his boneheaded unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, but he was very solid today. I was hoping he was more like a great #2 to Dansby (who also played very well today), and it's looking like he is finding his role on this team. Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: hordman on November 01, 2010, 07:02:22 am DEFENSE.
kept the Bungles in check, limiting them to really 7 pts. clemons should have had the INT and the frututious bounce that T.O. got with the TD (man, I hate that guy, he's everything that's wrong with the NFL) I wonder of the NFL will come back later on the week and say that Clemons really did have the INT and give the MIA defense credit for that and put an INT on Carson Palmer? Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: Phishfan on November 01, 2010, 10:15:05 am Carpenter. He should be special teams player of the week again.
Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: Landshark on November 01, 2010, 11:35:55 am I'm giving mine to Carpenter as well.
Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: Pappy13 on November 01, 2010, 12:07:05 pm Dan the man Carpenter.
Defense doesn't get one because they dropped too many possible INT's and managed to gift one to TO as well. Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: masterfins on November 01, 2010, 01:16:48 pm Carpenter...Now, If he could only put the kickoffs deep in the endzone on every kickoff.
The Fins must be leading the league in field goals this year. Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: USO-ORLANDO on November 01, 2010, 04:16:46 pm HM to me cause when I cut my grass on Sundays before the game we win!!!7:30 AM cut=Dolphin win!!!! ;D ;D
Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: Brian Fein on November 01, 2010, 04:56:06 pm I don't think Carpenter should get it because he did his job. His success is based on circumstance.
But I can't think of anyone else. Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: fyo on November 01, 2010, 05:00:26 pm I don't think Carpenter should get it because he did his job. Back to this, are we? That 54-yarder... just doin' his job... Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: Phishfan on November 01, 2010, 05:44:12 pm I don't think Carpenter should get it because he did his job. His success is based on circumstance. But I can't think of anyone else. When have we ever given the game ball for anything other than doing your job? Why do you feel anyone else does anything other than their job? Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: Pappy13 on November 01, 2010, 05:49:04 pm I don't think Carpenter should get it because he did his job. His success is based on circumstance. 13 out of 13 in the last 3 weeks? COME ON MAN! That's more than just doing his job.But I can't think of anyone else. Title: Re: Game Balls - at Bengals Post by: masterfins on November 01, 2010, 06:00:49 pm I looked up the stats on Carpenter, he is 18 for 20 on field goals for the year after only seven games, 30-35 field goals usually leads the league. Has made three of four beyond 50 yds and six of seven beyond 40 yds, so it's not like he's making alot of little chip shots. BTW, only eleven touchdowns in seven games.
