You acquire Donovan McNabb from your division foe in May. You bench Donovan McNabb in the 4th quarter because he apparently is fat and out of shape. You bring in Rex fucking Grossman who fumbles his first snap away for 6 points the other way. You have John fucking Beck as your 3rd string QB ... Then, you call in Jamarcus fucking Russell (yes, him) for a workout on Tuesday. I just don't get it. If anyone in the NFL is not in cardiovascular shape, it's Jamarcus "McDonalds" Russell. Even if Grossman does give you the longshot chance to win the game (which he doesn't), you'll essentially throwing away your season. I can see pulling an established starter for a 1 play hail-mary or something, if he's got a stronger arm, but this was just stupid and will cause a ton of locker room problems.

Shanny can then play musical chairs with Troy Smith and Rex the Wonder Dog, and my 49ers will get to experience having a "real" QB for the first time since Jeff Garcia left the Bay area.
