Today, the Dolphins take on the Tennessee Titans.  Last December, these teams met in a pivotal game in which the Dolphins REALLY won after an amazing comeback by Chad Henne, but the refs stepped in when JT had what would have been a game-winning TD in his hands.

Now, Henne is on the bench.  I can only guess that Tony Sparano is still playing for the playoffs at this point.  That is why he is going with the veteran Chad Pennington.  Pennington has alternated a year of getting injured and then playing well starting with 2002.  He was injured last year, so is he due to play well this year?  We'll see.

The running game certainly must do better as well.

Challenge on the play.   Given how the refs have had it in for us AGAIN this year, I wouldn't be surprised if this is overturned.

It didn't actually look that bad. A defender hit his elbow or something with his helmet, but not that hard. Might've struck a nerve and numbed his arm a bit. Pennington didn't seem like he was in agony or anything...

That response seems completely disproportionate to the comment (which actually seems reasonably sensible, although I don't know the details of Pennington's contract).

Report is that Pennington hurt his SHOULDER. That sounds like he isn't coming back in. (The hit was nowhere near the shoulder, so he must've hurt it falling awkwardly).

GREAT tackle by our new guy, Al Harris. Haven't seen ANYONE on the 'phins take a guy down like that this season.

Sparano is already fired. He knows it. The playoffs are otu of reach when you don't hold tiebreakers vs Pitt, B'more, Jets, or Pats.....he has nothing to lose by going for it. The season was over after last week's loss to Baltimore. Sparano's job was ended there as well. That is why he is in panic mode. Start Pennington, fake punts deep your own end....he is trying ANYTHING to save his own ass. Too late though

henne has to learn how to time that with good accuracy because that is a typical throw you need to have in your arsenal in the red zone.

Okay, I can't see the game because I am in NY. Henne went 19-28 for 240 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. Nothing great, but solid numbers, even moreso considering our running game has been non-existent. So, why was he benched for Thigpen?

and yeah, im not totally blaming him because he is coming in completely cold... but he's working some good things here

We were running a lot better out of the Wild Cat than this crap.

The O-line (except #77) has really lost the battle of the trenches this week.
