Seriously it is starting to border on ridiculous! Title: Re: Cleveland/NJ Jets Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on November 14, 2010, 07:24:19 pm Well...given the standard Jets MO.... this is what will happen. ......
With two weeks left in the season the Jets will need to either win one of the two remaining games or have one of four teams lose one their remaining games to make the playoffs. The Jets will then lose both, not get help, and miss the playoffs. Title: Re: Cleveland/NJ Jets Post by: Spider-Dan on November 15, 2010, 03:32:13 am This year's Jets remind me of the early '00s Patriots.
They don't so much win the game as wait around for the opponent to implode and hand the game to them. Title: Re: Cleveland/NJ Jets Post by: Pappy13 on November 15, 2010, 12:08:23 pm Yes, the Jets have been really fortunate to come away with wins the last couple weeks, but that's what good teams do. They win tight games. I don't think that the Jets are as good as they think they are, but they are a good team. Cleveland is better than people give them credit for.

They win tight games. That's incorrect. Statistically, "good teams" win tight games roughly 50% of the time. Title: Re: Cleveland/NJ Jets Post by: Pappy13 on November 15, 2010, 05:57:04 pm ^^ Well they did lose 10-9 and 9-0 already this year, so I guess that's about right.
