Title: Lee GONE, Bowles STAYING
Post by: MikeO on January 10, 2011, 06:44:02 pm
David Lee has left the Fins to go to Ole Miss as their offensive coordinator

Dallas isn't going to hire Todd Bowles. He will be staying with the Fins

Dan Campbell will most likely be the Fins new TE coach

Spent the season as a "coaching intern" on the Fins

I don't think Lee did much with Miami's QB position while he was here...but I also can't say he was given much in the way of raw material to work with.

Lee GONE, Bowels STAYING

Some typos are just made funnier than others...like any time you get the Bowels involved. ;)

I strongly feel that Henne's regression is a direct result of David Lee's miserable coaching.  I also believe Henne can improve with an adequate QB coach.

Ole Miss is going to be horrible.

Marshall directly called him (Lee) out by saying he got upset when Thigpen and he changed the called play based in the coverage.  He said this happened regardless of if the play worked.

It's very obvious at this point that coaching from the top down did not allow for any thought process or creativity. I'm not sure if Henne will recover but I do believe it led to his demise and lack of confidence. It actually might be a good thing for Thigpen he didn't get to play more.
