Title: Wild and Crazy "Team Leaders" Offense predictions of the 2011 season....
Post by: bsfins on January 26, 2011, 01:47:58 pm
About this time the past two years on The Dolphins Make Me Cry Saturday Night,Dave Gray would join us on the show, and we'd make some wild, and crazy predictions on the next season....I think it would be fun to do on the board...But instead of just pulling random predictions, let's predict who will lead the team in certain categories....

Example
Passing Yards - The Answer could be someone on the roster,in which you'd name them...Chad Henne. Someone we pick up in Free agency,in which you put Free Agent,If it's a rookie Draft pick you'd put Rookie...And Maybe why you thing the way you do....

The Categories....
Passing Yards
Passing Td's

Rushing Yards
Rushing TD's
RB Carries

Receiving Yards
Receiving Td's
Receptions

I'm going to say based on a regular 16-18 game season.....

Maybe Next Week we'll do Defense ,and Special teams...
---------------------------------------------

My answers..

Passing Yards -Chad Henne - I think he'll play the majority of the snaps - 6-10 games
Passing Td - Free agent QB -

Rushing Yards - Ronnie Brown (injury Prone Season,I think we'll resign him 2 year deal) Barely edges out Lex Hillard,a Rookie will be the impact explosive player
Rushing Td's - Lex Hilliard,I think later in the season we'll go back to running the ball more,Hilliard 240 lbs will be the pounder...
Rb Carries - Hilliard

Receiving yards - Marshall
Receiving Td's - Rookie TE
Receptions - Devone Bess...I love you man... :D

^^^ This was the first season in the last four that TDMMC didn't have a weekly show. There were some issues early in the season that kept things on the shelf, and then by midseason, there just wasn't a ton of clamor for it.

You can check out archived shows at the following link:

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/finsradio/page/14

If you start there and go "previous episodes" at the bottom, you'll find a lot of TDMMC Saturday Night!! shows

Only 1 running back with a first round projection and even the second round doesn't seem promising. I do think we'll bring back Ronnie Brown and he'll get the majority of the load, at least until some mid-pick rookie gets going. I predict Henne to be our starting quarterback for ALL of next season.

So... My "wild and crazy" prediction is that all the stat leaders are on the roster right now. I do think there's a reasonable chance we'll pick Cam Newton or another quarterback in the first round, but I doubt he'll see the field much.

Our offense, while much more varied, will keep coming back to Marshall and Ronnie all season long.

Passing Yards: Chad Henne
Passing TDs: Chad Henne

Rushing Yards: Ronnie Brown
Rushing TDs: Ronnie Brown
Rushing Attempts: Ronnie Brown

Receiving Yards: Brandon Marshall
Receiving TDs: Brandon Marshall
Receptions: Brandon Marshall

To early to make these predictions.  At least wait until after the draft.
