Title: Re: NBA Draft Post by: Landshark on June 24, 2011, 09:14:38 am With the lockout looming and the possibility of a "hard salary cap" coming, not too many teams were making trades.

Pistons got Brandon Knight - he's from down this way, went to Pine Crest High School. He's good Title: Re: NBA Draft Post by: masterfins on June 26, 2011, 08:11:29 pm I was watching the draft with some friends the other night and it was kinda funny with all the foreign players that they were saying their ages are "alledgedly" XX years old. Then today I read the guy Minny draft in the second round is actually 26 years old (not 21), playing in a league in Qatar. Supposedly a simple internet search would have revealed his true age. I guess they aren't to bright in Minny.
Title: Re: NBA Draft Post by: MikeO on July 01, 2011, 09:13:49 pm Found it funny that a few teams drafted European players in the 2nd round knowing those guys won't come over soon or ever maybe. That way they don't have to pay them anything and the team saves money now. While if teams drafted college kids they would have to fork over a contract no matter how small it may be.
