Title: Peter King suggests Ronnie Brown and Matt Roth to Patriots Post by: CF DolFan on July 27, 2011, 03:47:03 pm I was reading peter Kings top 50 free agents and he had Ronnie Brown at 33 and Matt Roth at 50. He suggests New England as the best fit for each one. Personally I think it would suck.

Not sure how I feel about him. He is a malcontent that lacks proper work ethic. But he is hugely talented and NE didn't pay a lot for him.

Worst case -- cost NE $5 million and a 2013 5th round pick. Not inconceivable he turns himself around in NE, it isn't like that hasn't happened before. And either NE keeps him long term or trades him for a much higher pick. This trade is no riskier then sending a 4th to Oakland for Moss. It might work out it might not, but if it doesn't it doesn't cost NE that much.
