with the exception of Long being out, I'm okay with this depth chart..and I LOVE the defensive side of the ball. Without being overly optomistic, I think Miami can easliy have a top 5 defense. thoughts? It is still early though. In this case I do because it means he has some competition. Starks and Merling are pretty decent. Solaia won't be in on every snap, they'll move Starks over to NT from time to time and let Merling and Odrick play as well. He's a year out of "real" football shape and hasn't really played in the NFL yet....what's the problem here? I just don't like the idea of #1 picks being reserves. It isn't like I'm raising a stink. I just said I don't like the idea. I also said it is early in the season didn't I? Let's not try to create something out of nothing. The original post asked for thoughts. I provided one. How about we hear another one?
