Hey everyone!

Your thoughts on my taking Arian Foster as the 1st pick overall in my FF draft? 

i personally would go with cam newton

The only thing that scares me about Foster this year is that he lost his fullback so I am not familiar with who his lead blocker is now. I love Foster though and he is a top 3 back in my opinion.

My top 5 picks this fantasy season...all RBs

1) Adrian Peterson
2) Jamaal Charles
3) Chris Johnson
4) Ray Rice
5) Arian Foster

Hey Stroke I am torn on Charles because Jones ate up quite a few carries last season. I am interested in your thoughts on having him at #2.

KC has talked openly about reducing Jones' touches and increasing Charles' workload. I like him quite a bit this season.

Foster lost his FB plus he already has hammy issues. Top 5 pick, not #1

Considering the numbers Foster put up last year, it's certainly difficult to pass him up.  Athlon Sports has him #1, but I'm finding most other publications and people disagree.   Adrian Peterson seems to be garnering the most favor, though I've heard his offensive line needs considerable work.  I do like the fact he only fumbled once last year.  How will McNabb affect Peterson's output?

Based on what I've heard about Fantasy, I understand RB is the key position of the game, but I would take Michael Vick over any of those guys.  He can make things happen with his arm and legs.  What's your take on that?

If I did a top-10 list, you'd see Vick's name (#9), but I see a big enough gap between the top tier RBs and the next level down (and conversely, too small a gap between Vick-Rodgers and the QBs at the late 2nd/early 3rd (Brady, Brees, Rivers) that I just can't see taking a QB in the top-5. I don't even have Vick as my #1 QB...I have Aaron Rodgers a slot ahead of him at #8.

AP is a good pick for #1.  He's the safest I think.

I think there are 4-5 (or more) QB's I'd rather have than Vick.  Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees...  At minimum.  Let alone Vick over the top tier RB's.  No thank you, you can have him. 

If Vick does anything close to what he did last year (fantasy-wise), yes thank you I'll take him. Granted my league is very unorthodox, so...

It is a changing of the guard this year.  SAPA Tom Brady and P. Manning are interchangeable at #10 this year only because of their age and Manning's health. 

Even if you're wearing Beanie's BFF bracelet, drafting him before the 4th round is a mistake. Listing him ahead of Aaron Rodgers for a first round list...mind-boggling. ;D

Maybe I'm right...maybe you're right...maybe I'm making a bold prediction due to the fact that he is the only rushing threat they have now...maybe I'm trying to throw off my fantasy football competition for the upcoming season....MAYBE YOU'RE FUCKING THAT UP!.....maybe.

That Beanie is headed for an MVP season, sho 'nuff!

Jamel Charles comes from a run heavy offense. They like to run first, run second and if possible run third and only pass when necessary. I like him alot this year

^^^ Agree completely...no reservations at all having Charles at #2 overall on my list.

The other first rd RB I'm trying to get when Charles isn't available is Ray Rice. Guy was already a versatile stud, and this offseason the Ravens got rid of both guys who vultured touches from him last season (Willis McGahee, McClain), and added arguably the best lead blocking fullback in the league, Vonta Leach. That smells like fantasy goodness to me...

I think Aaron Rodgers is a top 5 pick. The guy is completely red-hot on fire and great (How lucky are the Packers? First Favre and now Rodgers, who will win another Super Bowl someday).

I think that Michael Vick will fall this season (he will not be the QB he was last year).

I wouldn't make him #1. Would put him in the top five maybe. He had 327 carries last year. That's a lot. If they do that again this year, he may start to have more of those "nagging" injuries late in the year, when I need him for playoffs. Plus, if Andre Johnson is healthy, he's still the number one guy on that team. Regarding Vick- again, he is great for what 12 weeks? That's a remedy for fantasy FAIL, because an injured Vick in week 13 means your fantasy playoffs are in trouble. FWIW, Vick didn't look good last week either. 3 INTS? I'll take Brady, Rodgers, or Manning ahead of Vick and build my team on RB's in the first two rounds like every year.  ;)  -EK
