I think this game.....
I'd really like to see some turnovers created by our first string defense
Punt returners/Kick returners make some big plays,hopefully see someone pull away,take charge of those jobs
Offensive Line, are we going to see the one In Atlanta,or the one against the Panthers....
Can the Te's make a play,get in the offense consistently,play a bigger part,become a threat...(I'm highly doubtful)
Of course the QB play,RB's,WR's....

I just don't want to see anyone get hurt these last 2 games. We've avoided any season ending injuries thus far and a completely healthy team to start the year would do wonders.

The first half should give as a pretty good idea where we stand as the Bucs are pretty decent on both sides of the ball.

The third preseason game is the one I keep a close eye on.  Seeing as it's the dress rehearsal for the starters, it will give a good measure where this team stands, especially against a team like the Bucs who came on strong at the end of last season.

The last preseason game is where the second half gets interesting as we get to see the guys on the bubble fight it out.

a 3 play scoring drive,,, give these boys some time, we didn't run the ball at all hahahaha, sacked 1st play, 2nd play Henne audibles into something he likes hits fasano for what a 20 yard pass, then the next play 60+ yards TD

Loving the "looser leash" on Henne. Last week I saw him audible at the line like three in a row- I'm like, "WTF? Did we trade for Peyton?!" -EK

The good: Henne- 9/11 145 yards and a TD
The bad AND the ugly: Reggie Bush- 5 rushes for -1 yards. WTF?? -EK

Henne playing well. Marshall playing like a legit #1 WR. Pass rush looks good as well.

Offensive line looks beyond terrible. Carey/Colombo are god awful. Get rid of them both. Sign O'Hara tomorrow and plug him in at RG. Then maybe Murtha plays RT when Long comes back.

Sparano and o-line guru...lol, yeah right! We have 4 first round draft picks on our o-line when Long is healthy and the unit sucks!

Dolphins fist 7 possessions........only ONE drive went more than 3 plays. Granted we had the "big play TD" which is good, but aside from that the offense still stinks. Henne playing better which is nice and could answer a HUGE problem for years to come if it continues, but with no o-line or running backs it looks bad on offense...again

Not everything was good tonight. it's called breaking down the game and what happened on the field. Not putting your head in the sand and trying to convince yourself everything was great when it wasn't! the O-line SUCKED! Henne was good. Marshall was good. The secondary was bad.

Some good, some bad. Sorry!

Traded? Never said that. Plus no team in their right mind would trade for those scrubs. There are free agents without teams better than Mark Colombo right now.

Dallas had an awful o-line last year and even they didn't want Mark Colombo. We sign him and hand him a starters job day 1. tells ya  something. Vernon Carey wasn't good tonight. Sorry, he wasnt.

O-line gave up 5 sacks and has less than 15 rushing yards with 10 min to go in the game, you want to believe they had a productive night, go for it bro. Be the "1" and be out there on that limb.

What I saw this week was Henne go 10/13 for 175 yards and a TD and Marshall have 90 yards and a TD in only a half against a team that went 10-6 last year. Much improvement. So what if the line wasn't as good this week. It's not going to be every week, so it's nice to see that there are other things we can do well. My point is, where positive people see an opportunity, you see a chance to point out flaws and rag on things. How does that help anyone? -EK

They had one drive go more than 3 plays with the starters, ok one was a big play TD which was great. Kudos to everyone on that one play. Thats 1 out of 6 drives that went more than 3 plays...NOT GOOD!!!  They have less than 20 yards rushing with about 6 min left to go in the game. O-line gave up 5 sacks and had a ton of penalties.

Aside from the one big play and Henne playing very well, the offense was terrible. ALL in part due to the o-line. And 2 out of 5 isn't half, quick math lesson for ya champ ;)

Pointing out flaws does help...why do you think coaches are always miserable? They see flaws and reasons for concern. Positions where upgrades and corrections need to be made.  Just put me on ignore if you don't like my posts sorry. But I didn't do anything no other rational Dolphins fan did tonight. We all saw the same thing live with our eyes!!!

Anyone who saw the game tonight saw the obvious. Gave up 5 sacks. 18 rushing attempts for 17 yards with a few min left in the game. I don't know how anyone can spin that into a positive. It's not like Tampa is the 85' Bears either

I actually agree. I just think that pointing it out numerous times through multiple posts doesn't make your argument more valid, it just makes you seem negative. It's also only ONE PRESEASON GAME, not the end of the world people. I'll take barely average O-line play and a win over stellar O-line play and a loss every time. -EK

Not a troll. I never said i disagreed. I said that pointing it out 6 times is ridiculous and negative. Resorting to childish name calling  in your post to me only reinforces that. Finally, you pointed out that we gave up 5 sacks- but our "first-team" (and it really wasn't even that, as Long didn't play) only gave up 3. Glad to see Henne had a good game.  Obviously this is just a preseason game, but Henne (unlike a Brady, Manning, Brees, etc) needs to get some positive psychological reinforcement, and I think the last two games are helping with that.

Poor O-Line play tonight, which hurt the running game, maybe those guys were out drinking last night.  :)  I'm sure that'll improve by week #1, no need to cut the whole O-line just yet.

I'd like to see the NFL Network replay...but it doesn't come on until tomorrow around 10 central.   >:(

Nice to see Henne play well.  It is important for him to keep it up.  He needs the positive reinforcement.

Who dropped the interceptions on defense?  I heard Miami dropped two.

Bell had one in the 1st half. Really Really easy, Josh Freeman threw the ball right too him. It looked like he caught it, even the announcers said he caught it. But when he lost control coming down.

The other one was either Vontae or Sean, I can't remember right now off the top of my head. It was in the first half though.

We can't, it doesn't work or believe me, most of us would have had you on ignore a long time ago.

I don't understand why these guys are missing so badly on offensive line draft picks, especialy a guard in the 3rd round.   Jerry hasn't even shown glimpses of talent.  Either he can play or he can't. It's not like drafting a quarterback.  And they had close interaction with Jerry at the Senior Bowl and still missed.

With the exception of Jake Long and possibly Mike Pouncey, these guys have failed miserably at getting offensive linemen.  And this is Sparano's specialty???  I'd say it's the reason for his eventual firing.

It is because of their love affair with Dallas castoffs. All the trash that dallas gets rid off, this idiot ireland picks up and cuts a decent player for.

^^^ That's the problem with many head coaches that come from other teams, they pick up guys from their last team that are on the downside of their careers (or in some cases weren't good to begin with).  Wanny did the same thing, he brought in all the Bears cast off players and coaches and it was a disaster.

Finally got a chance to watch the game tonight and I thought the offense looked pretty good. That's still 2 out of 6 drives that scored points and another one that would have had a chance if not for a fumble by Marshall. It's not great, but it's not necessarily terrible either. The reason that the other drives stalled were because of penalties on the offensive line. That's correctable.

Finally got to watch also tonight.

The right side of the O-Line is awful.  They were so bad, I had a hard time evaluating the rest of the offense.  They allowed no running space, gave up many pressures and sacks. 

The rest of the team seemed to play well, though.  No big injuries.  Game successful.
