after reading the Article below it makes me think we will go cheap on a head coach and not look to make any big splashes next offseason. Ross isn't making enough of a profit in his mind and cutting costs.

just read this and it is most troubling about this whole mess...

makes sense when you think about it. 8 million below the cap, and one of 4 lowest teams in salary expenditures. hopefully it's just because he doesn't trust this regime.

Or maybe it's because there was no one worth spending money on.  Most of you wanted to throw the bank at Orton and whoever else. Then we would be at the salary cap and 0-3. I'm not sure how that would have made you feel better.

I would rather take this approach than the nut bag in Washington.  But, still, this could point to a larger issue as well.

ireland doesnt know talent. which is why i am ok with ross telling him not to spend. atleast we wont be in cap hell when gruden comes in.

Well, I would've liked to see the Dolphins throw a little money at Bryant McKinnie after the Vikings cut him.  6'8", 350 pound borderline elite (when he wants to be) LT at a discount price?  Slide that monster over to RT and tell Marc Colombo thanks for the memories!  Or maybe throw some money Shockey's way so he could be the seam threat that Fasano only sometimes is?

McKinnie wanted to come here and we don't even entertain the idea?  I look at players like Greg Olson, Shockey, and Ben Watson players that could have been what we say we're looking for and they go to other teams and no interest from Miami...

McKinnie and Olson for sure were just plain stupid non moves by our front office!

If Ross is going to be another Jeffrey Lori, then I want him as far away from South Florida as possible.  Sell the team Mr. Ross.  You've already made an idiot of yourself with the Jim Harbaugh fiasco.

there were a few tight ends we could have signed that would be been upgrades, we didn't. We could have locked Solai up long-term and saved a bunch of money now and down the road. Now from reading Solai's agent last week it looks like unless we franchise him again he wants out of Miami. So its overpay to keep him or let him walk. That was silly.

Could have signed Darren Sproles cheaper than Bush. And not give up the draft pick. You can make a case for there.

There were moves to be made to improve this team, Ireland failed. SHOCKING I KNOW!

Sell the team, Mr. Ross.  It's perfectly evident you want this team to be a sideshow and not a winner. 

You gave us celebrity owners.  Perfect if the other team is a bunch of geeks.

You gave us a night club inside the stadium.  Perfect if the other team can't dance.

You gave us a cocktail party.  Perfect if the other team hates martinis and doesn't drink.

The only problem with all these things, Mr. Ross, is that the other team plays football. 

As with anything else, quality over quantity. Unfortunately, we get no quality for the lack of quantity.
